Strong lager available in cans, bottles and kegs.
Brewed with a blend of spring and winter barley.

A special tasting experience !
The name alone sums up the character of this lager. A careful selection of malted barley from the Spring and Winter seasons are brewed slowly: the result is a rare and precious brew called the noble brew which gives this beer its abundance of aromas dominated by malted tones. With a perfect balance, the touch of bitterness is complemented by its sweetness on the palate. Intense and powerful in taste, Meteor Grand Malt also stands out by its golden colour and generous head.”

Extremely cheap tasting. Metallic, somehow fruity, and very light. The smaller bottle is cute, but it’s truly a waste of money. Busch is even better...

I am pretty sure this was what I had, as the tap at the bar was this: Pours golden with white head. Aroma is bread and grain. Taste is much the same. It is not too sweet. Easy to drink Euro lager. Not bad.

oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 24, 2014
Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, mildly salty along with some herbal notes. Flavour is bready, grainy, some mild herbal notes as well as mild salty and some strange sweet notes.

Bottle, 6.1% as Patrimoine gourmand blonde d’alsace pur malt. Bar code 3257981083257. Buttery aroma, hint of rough macro lager. Clear golden colour. Stable white head. The flavour also starts off a little buttery, but not as nasty as I feared after smelling it. It has a slightly rough hop bitterness and a quite sweet aroma hoppiness which is also slightly spicy.

All malt in this puppy, strong malt aroma and taste. Slightly musty, sour nature to this, some yeast presence. Just below average for the style.

25cl bottle (Blonde d’Alsace). A nice refreshing blonde beer, nothing special.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8139) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 29, 2013
Sampled from an 8.45 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium amber color with a medium sized orange-white head that faded and left decent lacing. The aroma was bready and yeasty with notes of toffee and vague herbal hops. The flavor was tangy and almost buttery with notes of yeast, toffee and faint herbal and perfumey hops. Medium length tangy bread and toffee finish. Medium body. Blah.

arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 23, 2013
Pour out of 250 mL bottle, clear yellow-orange pour with thin to no head, aroma brought notes of slight grain, wet hay, touch of grass, not much going on here. Taste is oxidized with wet cardboard, hay, cereal-like grains, touch of grass, finishing watery, slightly sweet. Blech.

Patrickctenchi (6730) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Pours slightly hazed amber-gold with a short white head. Scent is bready, honey, malt. Taste is rich malt, bread, caramel. A metallic bitter finish. Uninspired.
