COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
« Meteor pils is a superior qualitu beer and the result of a unique know-how. Made in 1927 by Louis Haag and his son Frédéric, its authentic, exclusive recipe is a skilful combination of nole ingredients, particularly hops from the Czech Republic (Saaz) and Alsace (Strisselspalt). Its pale yellow colour is crowded by an abundant, airy head that holds out the promis of great finesse. Particularly light and sparking, it gradually asserts its smooth bitterness before opening up it rich, floral aromas and offering an intense freshness.

Fra flaske på Mi2, Cardinal (Asko Rogaland ølmesse): klar lys gylden, ok skum. Floral aroma og smak med kokte grønnsaker i førersetet. Say no more.

Shared bottle at Mi2 Extended at Cardinal 06.06.16. Decent aroma of grass at various stages of decay. However, the decency of the aroma is deluding. Taste is unfresh, with boiled vegetables and wet cardboard.

Shared bottle at Cardinal. Pours clear straw, small white head. Aroma of grassy hops. Taste of boiled vegetables, dry medicinal finish. No thanks.

Decent pilsner.
Clear golden color with a fine white head. Mild aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Plain pilsner malty and herbal flavor. Been there done that.
[Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Norway]

Bue à la pression. Blonde jaune, mousse blanche. Effervescence moyenne. Gout malté peu intéressant. Finale âpre.

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Norway. Clean golden color, good foam. Low aroma intensity; malt, boiled vegetables & some fruitiness. Light body & complexity. Ok bitterness & balance. Pretty standard stuff ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Week smell, very usual taste, nice golden color, sweet aftertaste. Definitely not the best French beer

Pretty disappointing. Should have know, Meteor’s beers have never impressed me much. This one is no different. Slightly sweet. Just a hint of pilsner character, but barely any. Apparently won some award in 2014. Would love to know what it was up against!

On-tap. Clear yellow golden with a white creamy head. Aroma - mild fruityiness, grains. Sweetish malt, a bit grassy, quite bland. Light and clean, but quite dull.

Golden color, clear liquid and medium head. Medium malty and hoppy aroma. Balanced taste... nice hops for a pils! Like it
