COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Meteor pils is a superior qualitu beer and the result of a unique know-how. Made in 1927 by Louis Haag and his son Frdric, its authentic, exclusive recipe is a skilful combination of nole ingredients, particularly hops from the Czech Republic (Saaz) and Alsace (Strisselspalt). Its pale yellow colour is crowded by an abundant, airy head that holds out the promis of great finesse. Particularly light and sparking, it gradually asserts its smooth bitterness before opening up it rich, floral aromas and offering an intense freshness.

Pours a light yellow colour with a nice tall frothy white head with good lacing. Aroma is grain, malt and some hay. Taste is also grain and malt with a decent bitter finish. Nice soft mouthfeel. Overall, pretty uninspiring.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2011 Consmed in Strassurg with friends. Comes in a unique bottle. The beeer is not unique however, just your standard EPL fare, surely not a pils.

Draft. Grassy citric nose with a bit of dusty hay. Straw golden colour, fine white head. Quite germy sweet flavor with a slightly tart finish. A bit bland.

So it pours with a bright yellow body and huge fluffy pilsner head. The aroma is bread, dry bread, perhaps a baguette or two. Taste is a fruit mix of watery hops with a smooth finish. As a pilsner, its all right, Id imagine - though uncreative and hard to distinguish from that kind of bunch.
