Bottle 330ml at the TGV towards Paris. Great sweet and "yeasty" beer. Aromas of hazelnut, caramel, and hints of butter. Taste is sweet, with bitter notes, and long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a thin head.

This is from the notes I took on a napkin on the TGV train 6196 Avignon - Paris: Poured a nice off white creamy head that lasts and some lace. Color was a clear medium amber. Aroma was malty, yeasty, apricot, honey, dark ripe fruit, spicey, and a bit floral. Flavor was like aroma. Good bitter/sweet balance. Good body, champagne fizz. A slow session beer. dwyerpg (6188) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - SEP 9, 2011
This is also quite tasty. Some bubblyness, a bit of maltiness; also has some spiciness that the dremmwels had. Thanks ’rents for bringing these back from France! Grzesiek79 (4300) - Radom, POLAND - MAR 10, 2012

Color is a hazy orange-blonde with an aroma of fruity liquor and pool water but just fresh sterilized water and not in any bad connotation. Flowers, fruit, orange, spice and wheat. I feel like I have the whole French country side crop in my glass. All the subtle qualities of a rich dark Belgian beer without all the fuss mkel07 (5995) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAR 14, 2012

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Danny. Pours totally clear yellow with a frothy, white head. The nose holds white grape, pale grains, white bread. Medium sweet flavour with sugary pale bread, more white grape, faint cereal. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet and bready on the finish, with hints of toffee, tangerine, more white grape, melon, white bread. Enjoyable BdG.
