2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Another gift from Isaac’s trip to the west coast. Cool package. Pours clear amber with a thin head. Fruity and faint on the tongue.
From Oct 2006
Poured from 12oz bottle a clear medium gold with a small head of foam that disappeared quickly.
The smell is delicate but I note some malty sweetness and some hoppiness.
The taste has some good hoppy notes on first sips..I can taste some citrus and some grass. The malt is pretty mild but it *is* there helping to make for a good balance. Not a bad APA if you're in the mood for something that is tasty and smooth...
Bottom line: This is a good Pale Ale that's worth trying. Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - OCT 24, 2008
Pours a light amber shade with a big ass head that fades almost on impact. Bland flavoring, some grass and some hop residue but not much else. Subpar. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - MAY 10, 2007
Sweet pale ale with a solid citrus hop kick. Pours amber, very clear, with a smooth white head. Light dusty grain flavor in the finish along with a slightly soapy aftertaste that kinda bites at the palate. Decent brew but a few things to fix for my liking. oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 12, 2006
Pours a nice orangish color. Aroma is grassy hops. Flavor of a classic pale, big grassy hop flavor.

An average pale ale. Nothing jumps out at you on this one. Foamy head that goes away quickly. Light hops and dull Similar to Elk Rock Pale Ale but not as good. Spend your money on anything from Deschutes Brewing. Bachelor Pale Ale comes to mind. beerguy101 (5364) - Newark, California, USA - AUG 9, 2005
12oz bottle. Amber/copper color. Small white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, malt and sweet. A light to medium bodied Pale Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are herbal and earthy and quite mild. Kind of a bland tasting Pale Ale. Malty, but not very hoppy. A little watery and thin. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. 11026 (1772) - Alabama, USA - AUG 6, 2005
Bottle. Medium amber in color, clear. Faint off-white head forms, little lacing. Aroma is benign, light malts a touch of biscuit, citrus hops. LIght bodied, watery. Soapy flavor which really detracts. Mediocre at best. ontario102 (794) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 24, 2005
Bottle: Nice cascade hop nose with some biscuity maltiness; dissipointing, watery palate with a somewhat weak and subtle flavor, some lemon and toasted malt notes; low end of the pale ale realm AlabastorJones (815) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 23, 2005
clear gold coloring with areally nice white lacey head, hoppy malt aroma, bubble gummy, watery finish but is a little hoppy, great carbonation, very refreshing on a hot day, lemon bite, I love the labels that this brewery uses, I think i’ve bought this sixer before just because it was hot out and i wished I had been fishing all day, true story
