Bottle. Pours clear amber, small fizzy off-white head that disispates quickly with a bit of lacing. Aroma is caramel, malt syrup, pine. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, caramel syrup and pine here too. Medium body, low carbonation, lingering bitter finish. Uninteresting. Twelve ounce bottle from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. A nice off white head over a mostly clear copper hued beer. Decent carbonation is visible. A soft aroma has flowers and perhaps a bit of honey. The first sip was bitterness with a nice malt profile. There are hops but they don’t provide a lot of flavor. Mid glass a sour after taste developed and it was not really pleasant. Unfortunately it was long lasting. A different choice of hops would help this beer. This is not a winner. Bottle, mine labeled from Rochester. Pretty pedestrian pour, but not flawed, either. Crystal clear amber brew, thin head. Virtually no aroma, and this drinks without much of a flavor profile at all. But it’s not offending, either. Crisp, clean and drinkable. (#5262, 9/22/2013) luttonm (6308) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 14, 2013
Bottle at SBT. Slight, caramel orange. Juicier orange-citrus hops. soft scotch malts, metal, ’starburst’ candy. maybe it is an out of date bottle, hops taste oxidized, or somesuch. Not great Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - APR 3, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a transparent yellow color body with a small one finger head that left some spider web lacing with rings. Fast rising carbonation was seen.
The smell was centered around the hops and nothing else.
The taste was exactly the same thing.
On the palate, it sat at/about a medium with nothing bad about it, but nothing spectacular, slightly watery.
Overall, this is just your standard American IPA, nothing to scream about.

Share tasting with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. Poured a clear amber with a lot of tiny bubbles and a lot of head. Decent lacing. Nose is stale floral hops. Medium in body with a decent clean mouthfeel. The flavor is bitter to start and overall malt forward. The finish is like the aroma being kind of like stale floral hops. Not an offensive beer, just not exciting either. Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - MAY 6, 2013
6 may 2013, bottle. Gold with pink twinge. Nose is pine and grapefruit rind hops. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Piney, grapefruit, resin hops. Faintly oily. Kind of mediocre.

I need to be more skeptical when some previously unheard of brew shows up at my grocery store. This is a pretty typical example of what these beers tend to be and it is very mediocre. It does at least pour a nice orange color, clear w/ a long-lasting head of fine white bubbles, but really that is the best thing about it. This is a pretty down-the-middle APA w/ nothing especially compelling about the hops and a slight metallic twinge. It is drinkable, not too sweet and bitter enough in the finish but that is only enough to make for an average beverage. Christpuncher (3135) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 26, 2013
An average ipa at best. Had this one at home and bought it at jewel. Very malty and not hoppy. Not sure why it is even considered an ipa

Not the finest IPA ever, but you know what? It isn’t the worst either. Very tolerable, and that’s saying a lot from me, a Stout fan who has been inoculated into an IPA society for the last 1.5 years.
