Pours an orange copper with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma: caramel, nuts, light resin, a little alcohol and vanilla. Well balanced taste. Palate: medium body, slick feel, average carbonation, bitter finish. It[’s an IPA. Gustodd76 (3) - Corona, California, USA - SEP 28, 2014 does not count
Not as hoppy as most IPA's but a descent beer none the less. Smooth and very mellow.

6 may 2013, bottle. Gold with pink twinge. Nose is pine and grapefruit rind hops. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Piney, grapefruit, resin hops. Faintly oily. Kind of mediocre.

Golden color. Fluffy head. Hop aroma is predominate. Meduim carbonation. Clean flavor. Some candy sweetness. Solid bitter aftertaste. Thisis12ptfont (1195) - Los Angeles, CA, California, USA - MAR 15, 2013
Aroma brings light citrus, lemon and herby hops. Crimson/copper appearance with a huge three-finger foam. Pleasant caramel, honey, biscuit overtones. Light fruit and hops on the tail end. Overall, it’s not too bad. Kind of a more malt based IPA. I’d give this a C rating.

12oz into a glass, pours a copper amber fire. Aroma is some hops, pine, malts, shoeshine, malts, and orange rind. Taste is dumbed down by the malts prevailing all over, but orange spice, grapefruit, melon and grass remains. Overall, an ok ipa, sampled in Vegas, but not exceptional or outstanding. Share tasting with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. Poured a clear amber with a lot of tiny bubbles and a lot of head. Decent lacing. Nose is stale floral hops. Medium in body with a decent clean mouthfeel. The flavor is bitter to start and overall malt forward. The finish is like the aroma being kind of like stale floral hops. Not an offensive beer, just not exciting either. Braudog (6717) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - SEP 22, 2013
Bottle, mine labeled from Rochester. Pretty pedestrian pour, but not flawed, either. Crystal clear amber brew, thin head. Virtually no aroma, and this drinks without much of a flavor profile at all. But it’s not offending, either. Crisp, clean and drinkable. (#5262, 9/22/2013) luttonm (6282) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 14, 2013
Bottle at SBT. Slight, caramel orange. Juicier orange-citrus hops. soft scotch malts, metal, ’starburst’ candy. maybe it is an out of date bottle, hops taste oxidized, or somesuch. Not great Strykzone (7363) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - FEB 27, 2013
Twelve ounce bottle from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. A nice off white head over a mostly clear copper hued beer. Decent carbonation is visible. A soft aroma has flowers and perhaps a bit of honey. The first sip was bitterness with a nice malt profile. There are hops but they don’t provide a lot of flavor. Mid glass a sour after taste developed and it was not really pleasant. Unfortunately it was long lasting. A different choice of hops would help this beer. This is not a winner.
