This one is a pretty generic American amber lager. There is literally nothing to it it isn’t mind-blowing. deyholla (11602) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 5, 2009
Tap at Hop Leaf. Poured a rusty copper with a small off white head. Aroma was acid with some malts present. The aroma reminded me of blood, not pleasant. Flavor was pretty basic, some malts, a slight caramel flavor. Mediocre at best. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAY 12, 2009
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2009 Bottle from guyinchicago. pours a (shocker)copper color. Very malty on the nose. But along with the malt comes some aluminum foil notes...metallic is what I am trying to say. Flavor is malty, lagery and overall not that great. I am surprised to see the rating as high as it is. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 5, 2014
Bottle @ home via rotbox, thanks to TheAlum (I think). Pours a burnt orange appearance with a thin light brown head. A lot of toasty and husky grains in the nose. A fair amount of sweetness and a touch of citrus. Some grass. Decent mouth feel and finish but there is a lot of sweetness on the tongue. Grassy and doughy. Honey and toast. Decent carbonation. A bit old but decent.
