high scores so far, but there was something wrong with ours. Weak nose and body, and a very unpleasant plasticky aftertaste. Least favorite beer in a long while. CaptBier (323) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - NOV 2, 2008
Sampler at M&P. Pretty standard Porter, but after all the trash I waded through to get to this one it made it taste that much better. Previous description says it all. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - OCT 24, 2008
One of the best Mia and Pias beers i’ve had, smooth chocolate, medium roast, very smooth palate. Soft earthy note in the finish, dark chocolate lives on in the aftertaste. Really good porter, big flavor for 4.2%. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - MAR 9, 2005
Sampled draught at Mia & Pias Tap Room, Klamath FallsSham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 9, 2005
Dark black, creamy head. Nose of very subtle roast & smoke like a fine molasses or maple syrup. None of the astringency of a stout. Nice finish, excellent porter.
Brown with amber edges. Tan head and big spots of lace. Aromas of chocolate and roast. Diacetyl appears here as well. Bitter hops, some roast with not a lot of chocolate. Buttery flavors.
