Had this beer on 3/21/2000. Color is a crisp amber with fair carbonation and nice head. Aroma is a mild malt scent. Taste is rich and malty. Starts with a medium body goes down with a slightly creamy feel as a malt flavor begins to come on. Finish is a fairly rich malt flavor that taste a lot like an imported brew. This is backed by a light hop flavor and a mild bitterness. alexsdad06 (10596) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 26, 2007
12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a medium off white head that mostly holds on. The aroma is roasted malt. The flavor has the same roasted malt character with some sweet caramel thrown in. A little watery, but not bad considering the price. Extra bump because it was a surprise addition to our local golf course and I didn’t have to drink the usual swill. BREWMUSKCLES (2721) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 9, 2007
THE CARAMEL FLAVOR IS TOO RICH....AND SWEET! AND THE LACK OF BODY DOES NOT PRODUCE A CONTRAST THAT IS EITHER INTERESTING OR GOOD. ALL THE FLAVORS ANYONE WOULD EXPECT FROM AN IRISH AMBER. MAKIING THIS AN AVERAGE AMBER AND A HALF ASSED BEER. EXTRA POINT FOR BEING CHEAP AND BETTER ON DRAFT. cking (1175) - North Canton, Ohio, USA - MAY 25, 2007
Rated 11/9/06: A sixer for under $5, and the beer is decent. Hadn’t had this in a long time but I remember enjoying a few back in the day. Pour is light for an amber, little head and no lacing. Real sweet aroma, nice fresh baked breadiness. Thin but an adequate mouthfeel. Flavor is alright, but it’s watery which detracts from a nice sweetness. Good bargain but not a great representation.

Bottle shared by shigadeyo. Crimson pour witha light tan head. Aroma of some caramel malt and...feet? Ew. Flavors of caramel malt and some brown sugar. Light, overcarconated with a dry/malty finish. Tmoney99 (14769) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 12, 2007
Bottle in trade with shigadeyo. Poured clear brown with a large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate roasted malt aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet toasted flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Sweet drinkable beer. shigadeyo (3761) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 5, 2007

Serving: 12 oz bottles (brought by me).
Event: Columbus Wednesday night tasting.
Location: nolankowal’s place.
Aroma: Smells like a typical Irish Red Ale (malty with some cream and toffee notes).
Appearance: Clear amber .
Flavor: Toasted grains, some toffee, and somewhat sweet. Subtle bitterness that’s hard to find...
Palate: Medium body. Somewhat soft and creamy.
Overall: Really, this beer isn’t too bad for the price!
Bottle shared by shigadeyo: I wasn’t paying attention and this fine brew somehow became my 900th rating. Go figure. Pours a clear amber in color with a white head. Aroma, caramel malts, some brown sugar, and a flat stale quality to it. Flavor, caramel, definitely on the sweet side, pretty malty, not much bitterness. It’s not horrible. shea1d (3) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - MAR 7, 2007 does not count
This beer rocks!
light sweet flavor, not very hoppy or bitter at all.
Smooth and goes down easy!
