CelticBrew (912) - The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA - FEB 3, 2010
Pours clear and with small head. Not much like a wheat in appearance, but the nose has some clove and spiciness, as well as a sweet malty aroma. Flavour is sort of like a light wheat beer with some nice hop bitterness to finish.

bleeng (1682) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - JAN 31, 2010
Bottle sampling thanks to texasjeep. Hazy yellow. Nose is super banana-like a banana warehouse. Taste is very banana and yeasty. Body is light and fluffy. No balance in this beer doomed it.

Zinister (1423) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 29, 2010
Thanks (or no thanks) to Texasjeep for this beer. Pours a nice haystack yellow with little head. Clove, banana and vanilla on the nose. Flavor is simliar, but with a metallic flavor as well. Eh.

illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 16, 2010
Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Banana ester and wheaty aroma. Lighter side of medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor of pale wheat malts and bubblegum. Finish is thin, with clove, yeast , and cheap malt flavors taking this a little downhill.

Finhead (1761) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - JAN 15, 2010
A cloudy yellow pour with small white head. It has a nice aroma of lemon, banana, and wheat. You can really taste the banana at the beginning of this medium sweet brew with a relatively clean finish.

Rosebud butternuts (2396) - Denton, Texas, USA - JAN 14, 2010
bottle from bhensonb. poured a hazy yellow with a fast fading white head. aroma was banana, bazooka joe, and some citrus. flavor was lemon, banana, clove, and maybe a touch of bubble gum. body was light with high carbonation. this was actually surprisingly better than i was expecting.

NeoHippie2 (1074) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JAN 12, 2010
Really good wheat brew. Lots of banana and clove on the nose. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Lots of malts and yeast on the palate. Really a different style hefe then ones I’ve had. I thought this one really had a lot of flavor to it. Solid brew. Worth a try for sure

Nejhleader (1560) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 12, 2010
not too bad, aroma is a bit of banana/clove with some hay, body is a bit thin. taste is pretty nice, wheat, some citrus, bananas and a bit of clove.

burica2020 (22) - Tinley Park, Illinois, USA - JAN 6, 2010
Bottle from a sampler pack. Smells like a normal hef, looks like a normal hef (golden with small white head). But my god, the taste is bad, some spice and tartness but that gives way to wheat and blandness.

beernbourbon (1592) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - DEC 23, 2009
Bottle. Pour is turbid golden color with a very small white head. Aroma is light wheat, light sour, and some faint spice. Flavor is pretty standard. Spicy, light hay, and light wheat. There is a slightly acrid flavor in the finish that is a touch offputting. I have noticed this flavor is several of AB’s products recently. It would have been solid without it.
