Very good for a pre-mixed American black and tan. imdrunk (11) - USA - MAR 11, 2002
The chocolate and caramel and pale malts produce a rich roasted flavor, with a slight coffee note and a light clean finish.
Keep on drunking ’cause better days are drunk. labattblueleaf (225) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JAN 15, 2002
For all the bitching I do about the dark beers, this is outstanding! It has a phenomenal flavor and goes well with food. I would definitely buy this again. StevieMSU (64) - Kentucky, USA - MAR 7, 2002
A great black and tan, very drinkable with a nice crisp aroma, and a great tatse, I would recommend it to anyone, Anhueiser Busch finally put a decent beer on the market..way to go! hornedbeast66 (9) - USA - AUG 19, 2003 does not count
This has a richer taste than Amber Bock. A fine dark beer for those who prefer dark. It's very smooth.

Really good beer, if the ABV was higher it would be better. dwyerpg (6062) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - NOV 19, 2003
Nice nutty aroma, great dark color. This black and tan really reminds me of nut brown ales mixed with coffee. Overall, pretty decent. djsun2599 (12) - Ferndale, Michigan, USA - NOV 3, 2001
I’ve tried all of Michelob’s attempts at ’micro-brews’ they all sucked. Until I tried the B/T it was on sale for $4.50. I was totally suprised. Great roasted malt flavor. Nice job guys. bruno1378 (126) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 4, 2002
This certainly doesn’t taste like a real black and tan (Bass and Guinness), but it’s still a pretty good beer.
