Fizzy pinkish foam is the pour. Bubblegummish cherry aroma. Taste is lagerish overrid by cherry essence. Like a mild kriek though very sweet.

Pours a ruby color with a thin tan bubblie head. Aroma of cherry. Taste is very sweet cheery, Reminds me of a cough drop. I’m not a fruity beer drinker but this was ok to try.

It does have some quality that is worth mentioning, the taste is higher. Cherry is very definite, high malts, low hops and a very cherry flavor with some ricey after taste.

The aroma is not bad. It does have cherries but it also has rice. The appearance is amber with a medium foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma but with a sweetness that turns bitter. The palate is thin. Overall it’s better than I was expecting.

The bottle looks like the new designer DirtDevil vacuum. L’Uber indeed. If only they spent more time creating the beer than making a cool bottle. Aroma is Tusin. Syrupy and sweet. So syrupy that my lips would stickto the glass with each sip. Ass.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2010 24 oz rocketship-dildo bottle. Epic. Everything from this point on went downhill. Body is clear dark red. Aroma is similar to cherry medicine or robatusin. Taste is alcohol, cherries, and medicine.

Pours an interesting red-amber. Aroma is pure maraschino cherries, no malt, no hops apparent. Flavor is sweet maraschino cherries, but with noticeable alcohol, which actually seems to balance the sweetness some, but not enough. Overall, tastes like a cherry soda with a kick. This bottle was shared between 6 of us, so there was not enough to give it time to warm up.

Aroma of sweet cherry - not super sweet, but not at all sour. Clear mahogany color with a white head that ringed rapidly. Medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. The flavor is sweet malt, and the cherry is a bit like sucking cherry skin or pit. This seems to be a pretty malty lager, and the finish is not dry, but it is not overly sweet either. Sort of balanced, if the cherry bitter notes get counted. Very interesting try from a big brewer.

Skyview (6099) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - DEC 29, 2007
Shared by brewfiend at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear reddish brown brew with a fast dissolving off white head that leaves behind a fine film and ring. Aroma of cherries and light bread malt. Taste is something like a watered down Vicks NyQuil and some corn syrup. Finish is light with a touch of cherry cough drop. Not totally offensive but the bottle smashes pretty good when christening a new garbage dumpster in the back alley.

BDR (2535) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - DEC 29, 2007
Vintage 2007. bottle. Cherry cough syrup nose with corn grains. Cherry syrup body. Rough metallic finish. Red color.
