Bottle share thanks to Homer321. whalez! Smells like a old michelob that’s been sitting in the sun for a week, with some cherries. Tastes the same, som lingering cherry cough syrup. Leighton (21236) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 29, 2015
Bottle shared dulcet night during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Huge thanks to Aaron for this whale. Vintage 2007. Pours mostly clear amber with a frothy topping. Moderately sugary, with notes of cherry candies. Quite rich, in its way. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Very sweet on the finish, with some ripe cherries and a bit of bread. Solid. This one has held up well. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JUL 13, 2014
Bottle. From notes. First off, I tried this for the first time due to a trade for secret krampus. The bottle that John brought to rbsg was quite a bit different. For a bottle that was around 8 years old, this held up very well. A little oxidized but my god, this was still a great beer. Too bad it’s done, I would live to try this vs a fresh one. Pours a bright red with a small head.
The aroma is cherries, cardboard, and play dough. The cherry aroma is actually nice. But it doesn’t smell like Michelob, THE HECK?!
The flavor is obviously oxidized and odd, but it does have some sweetness and some cherry flavor. The booziness is present but not in an overwhelming way.
Certainly something I had wanted to try but never thought I’d get the chance, thanks clock!
Bottle. Pours a reddish amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak cherry aroma. Fruity sweetish grainy weak cherry flavor. Has a fruity malty weak cherry finish.

Bottle share at SRBG 2014. Thanks James! Pours reddish orange with a small white head. Aroma of cherry cough drops. Taste is the same. Interesting bottle. GenDV138 (7284) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - JUL 4, 2014
Bottle during RBSG 2014 thanks to jtclockwork. Clear amber with off-white head and some sediment. Aromas of cherries, syrup. Tastes of cherries, wheat, skunk. Medium-light body with a dry finish. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 2, 2014
Bottle @ Presidential Suite. Thanks to James for this special treat. Faded red/orange pour with a small white head. Nose is like cherry soda and Kool Aid. A bit of cardboard and seltzer. Tastes like sucrets. Just sort of a sweet cherry syrup and crystalline sugar thing going on. Slightly watery. Definitely oxidized. Just sort of sweet and that’s about it. Not awful, though. jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Sample @ RBWG, Asheville. Thanks JT Clockwork! MACRO WHALE WATCH! Deep amber pour with a small head. Strong oxidized cherry syrup and breakfast cereal. Tasste is similar. Pretty papery, the aging hasn’t improved this beast. Some artificial cherry, fruit gushers. Light body, active carbonation. Meh. Frank (4193) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2014
I tried this ancient garbage in a hotel room after official festivities for the day were discontinued during RateBeer Summer Gathering 2014. This is what these things are all about, people. It is a weird ass old Michelob brew that comes in a bottle shaped like an enormous dildo. It is orange with a white ring of head. There is a good bit of cherry and it is quite nutty and oxidized. It is slightly tart and very result. It is honestly pretty terrible but still a very cool beer to try. You cannot go wrong w/ hyper obscure macro ratings in this guy’s book.
