OK beer, nothing to scream about, but nothing to turn down your nose at either. Good malts and hop spicy enough, but just to much carbonation for my taste.

When I was 19 or 20, and still mainly drinking MGD, I really liked this beer. It was my first dark beer, heh. Its not great in retrospect, but Ill give it marks for spurring me forward to dark and rich beers.

I didnt like the after tast too much. It seemed heavy handed and forced, almost synthetic -- like a bad attempt at making a rich flavor.
