Hazy amber. Light footy character. Bland, with light wheat notes. Candyish finish. Not sure where this is going, really. djd07 (16428) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 6, 2009
Bottle as shown. Pours a clear amber with a medium frothy light tan head that diminishes quickly leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong clove banana and spice. Thin mouthfeel with a smokey clove and brown sugar and real grainy. Not much going on with this one. bhensonb (16105) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 27, 2008
Bottle at Fair Oaks’toberfest. Dark amber color with little head. Aromas of clove and banana. Tastes that way too. Finish is quite clovey. Good! Tmoney99 (15208) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 16, 2008
Bottle from Kroger. Poured a clear orange/brown color with a large off-white head that was mostly lasting and produced fair lacing. Good banana and bubblegum aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Good hefe sweet flavor with an average sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable brew. 12 ounce bottle. Pours a medium brown color with a large head, not so great head retention and specks of lacing. Very bready aroma with some spicy notes. Taste is bready, with light spice notes,
bitter hops and barely some fruity notes in the finish. Medium bodied.

(12oz. bottle, courtesy of Swalden 28) Pours a hazy amber-brown body with a small off-white head. Aroma of grain, wheat, caramel, toasted grain, coconut, and chocolate. Flavor of caramel malt, burnt brown sugar, banana, wheat, marzipan, and toasted grain with a light coin-like aftertaste. jcwattsrugger (12579) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - DEC 20, 2008
12oz bottle-pours a foamy light tan head and amber color. Aroma is fruity, medium malt-caramel/chocolate/peat, some earthy hops, wheat, tang. Taste is medium malt-caramel/chocolate/peat, fruity, some clove/spice. Metallic hops comes through at back end. Thanks jwc215 for picking this out. shrubber85 (11760) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - DEC 22, 2009
Bottle. Green banana, brown sugar, and sour milk aroma. Slightly hazy copper color with minimal head. Cherry, banana, clove, and wheat malt flavor. Pretty sweet. An okay beer - would have liked more of a malt flavor. hopscotch (11484) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 2, 2008
Bottle… First Annual Treasure Coast Beer Festival 2008… Murky, awful-looking mixture… deep, dark amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Perfumy, fruity nose with all those Bavarian yeast-invoked esters and phenols found in hefes that I just don’t really like much – also, some chocolate and bubblegum. Light to medium-bodied with prickly carbonation. Pretty close to perfectly-balanced… leans a just a whisker toward the sweet side. Finishes acerbic and dry. alexsdad06 (11378) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JAN 10, 2010
12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a large foamy off white head. The aroma has some caramel sweetness, but is more clove, yeast and bananas. The flavor has a caramel malt base with wheat grass, banana, and cloves. Medium bodied and smooth. This is a decent offering from a surprising source.
