Bottle, thanks to Dean, pours yellow with white lager foam, aroma and flavor of bug spray and ginger
, not a fan of this one JStax (6502) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - MAY 1, 2010
Poured from bottle into a goblet. Medium head white head with a dense yellow body that was nearly opaque. Aroma consisted of the spicy ginger and malt. Taste follows the pattern of the aroma with that traditional wheat aftertaste that reminds one so much of banana nut bread. Great beer that is definitely worth giving a chance if you enjoy wheat beers or you just want to try something interesting. cheap (5858) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 5, 2010
Mich Ginger: Smells clean with some metallic notes. Some sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Orange fruity taste at first. Looks like a darker wheat beer. A little bitterness with a soda pop kinda feel to it. Crisp. Finish is dull lemon peel sensations. Not a sweet ginger by any means. Not bad overall but I don’t think this could be sessionable - one or two OK, but not a bunch in a row. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAR 6, 2010
UPDATED: APR 14, 2010 The aroma does have wheat, spices, citrus, and ginger but it also has the signature A-B adjunct malts with metal. The appearance is hazy gold with an amber hue. The head is three fingers and foamy and leaves lacing in the glass. The taste is like the aroma with the ginger and malt up front and a dirty finish. The palate is smooth from carbonation. Overall not bad but could use a better base beer to work off of. The concept was very interesting but not the execution. Ron (3959) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUN 20, 2010
Pours hazy orange with a off white head. Very nice ginger aroma. Flavor of orange and ginger, and balances nicely with the rich wheat malt. Aftertaste is somewhat sweet and bitter. Body is a little thin, but it was very refreshing on a hot day. OK for a Macro

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours a medium hazy orange with white head that dissapates quickly. Pretty good lacing and some carbonation. Taste is wheat, orange, and ginger. Ok beer, but I can see where you would either love it or hate it. LinusStick (3461) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 11, 2010
A decent beer. Wasn’t expecting much but was presently surprised. Aroma was very sweet. Honey and ginger. Pour was a medium gold with lots of bubbles and a one finger white head. Taste was like a heavily carbonated ginger ale with honey flavoring. Can’t detect any alcohol at all. Nice heavy carbonation. Refreshing and crisp, but a little boring. jb (3253) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUN 19, 2010
Wonder what this would be like with some Chinese food? Quite an accentuated spiciness in the nose. The appearance is decent, looks tasty. The taste is a bit too one-dimensional with ginger. Thanks for the trade Ron. Palidor19 (3188) - Brandon, Florida, USA - APR 28, 2010
their is defiently some flavors of wheat and ginger. I know of the flavor of ginger because of ginger beer (soda) and sushi. the beer gives an off-putting malt like sweetness with a lously after taste. still it does have a a bit of flavor which could make it work for some Asian and/or Caribbean dishes. I had this beer on tap at Orange County Brew Ha Ha in Irvine, CA.
I guess I’m in the minority on this one: I liked it. It’s a wheat beer with ginger flavors and nose. It is what it claims to be.
