Poured from bottle into a goblet. Medium head white head with a dense yellow body that was nearly opaque. Aroma consisted of the spicy ginger and malt. Taste follows the pattern of the aroma with that traditional wheat aftertaste that reminds one so much of banana nut bread. Great beer that is definitely worth giving a chance if you enjoy wheat beers or you just want to try something interesting.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy burnt orange with a crispy off white head. Very nice citric ginger aroma. Tastes of orange zest and ginger, and balances nicely with the rich wheat malt. Aftertaste is is somewhat sweet and bitter. Body is a little thin, but that makes for a more refreshing beer with nice drinkability. Nicely done.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The label has a brief description of the beer along with its abv. (5.2%) There is no readable born on date just an odd number where it should be. (10049vc49) Appearance: It is pale orangey yellow in color with a cloudy haze. A few tiny bubbles can seen making there way up to the small creamy off white head. The head quickly settles down to a small ring of lace with a thin film island of foam in the middle. Lacing is slick and spotty. Smell: There is a subtle ginger ale like aroma with light wheat malt underneath. Taste: There are nice pleasant creamy ginger notes up front that pick up some wheat maltiness and notes of mandarin orange in the middle which gives it a very mild fruity ginger bread character. Hop flavor is barley noticeable. Only a very slight bitterness is preserved in the finish. The body is light and somewhat slick with soft carbonation. Notes: Overall this is a very drinkable beer with interesting and subtle character. I am on the fence with this one as it is tasty but it also reminded me of soda pop.

I had this beer on tap at Orange County Brew Ha Ha in Irvine, CA. I guess I’m in the minority on this one: I liked it. It’s a wheat beer with ginger flavors and nose. It is what it claims to be.

Hazy yellow, white foam. Aroma is strong ginger, coriander, wheat, citrus, orange. Taste is the same, pretty good wheat, citrusy orange, with a touch of ginger.

A decent beer. Wasn’t expecting much but was presently surprised. Aroma was very sweet. Honey and ginger. Pour was a medium gold with lots of bubbles and a one finger white head. Taste was like a heavily carbonated ginger ale with honey flavoring. Can’t detect any alcohol at all. Nice heavy carbonation. Refreshing and crisp, but a little boring.

Mich Ginger: Smells clean with some metallic notes. Some sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Orange fruity taste at first. Looks like a darker wheat beer. A little bitterness with a soda pop kinda feel to it. Crisp. Finish is dull lemon peel sensations. Not a sweet ginger by any means. Not bad overall but I don’t think this could be sessionable - one or two OK, but not a bunch in a row.

I followed my instincts and drank this little ball of sunshine straight from the bottle. Some yeast, mild grain, light citrus, malt sweetness, sourness and spicy ginger joy. Light body with a long finish. A little disappointing.

Pours hazy orange with a off white head. Very nice ginger aroma. Flavor of orange and ginger, and balances nicely with the rich wheat malt. Aftertaste is somewhat sweet and bitter. Body is a little thin, but it was very refreshing on a hot day. OK for a Macro
