2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz bottle picked up at the grocery store
Clear golden with a small white head that dissipates quickly, very spotty lacing. Aroma of wheat, corn and mild honey. Taste is wheat, straw, citrus and plastic
This is my favorite light beer. I first tasted it on a tour at the brewery in St Louis but they informed me it’s only available in the Great Lakes states. Not sold in St Louis! This was in 2004 and I put in repeated requests to have it sold near me. I bought cases of it whenever I was in a market that sold it. Now... 13 years later it is available in Kansas City. I drink a wide variety of beers most of the time but when I want a light beer with low calories and a crisp flavor, I go for Michelob Golden Light. felsenpils (183) - Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 19, 2017
12 ounce bottle. Pours a very clear straw golden color with a quickly disappearing white head. The aroma says it all: this is the perfect example of acetaldehyde,in beer which is the precursor to ethanol in alcoholic fermentation. The aroma and flavor here are of cut green apples. I find this quite offensive and actually worse than most other mainstream light lagers, but I used to own a tavern and I sold a lot of it. One time, my beverage chiller got a bit too cold and Michelob Golden Draft Light froze solid while the Beck´s non-alcoholic right next to it was just fine. That tells you just how thin and watered-down this stuff really is. Atom (2578) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 14, 2017
12oz can pours a pale clear straw golden with a large white head. Sweet corn grain malt aroma, cidery. Taste of watery sweet malt and corn. csaso (2331) - Missouri, USA - JUL 11, 2017
Bottle - drank straight from bottle, but could see it was a very pale straw color, pretty typical light pale macro lager, maybe slightly on the better end of that scale

Best light beer I’ve ever drank and we are some pretty dedicated bud light drinkers!

Pours a crystal clear golden yellow from the can with bubbly white head that leaves light lace. Aroma and taste of mild bray grain and slight grassy hop. Clean and crisp lager, not bad for what it is. Ronritter (875) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - DEC 21, 2016
Same old light beer rating, watery only good for pounding for a cheap buzz. PugUglyBrewer (805) - - OCT 24, 2016
Not a terrible macro. Poured from the can the look is near flawless of clear golden straw. The aroma is straw and some sweet corn. The taste is crisp and slightly sweet. Smooth going down. Goes great with pizza. ozzy70 (1283) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUL 26, 2016
Tap at the Double Tree Hilton bar in Minneapolis. Poured clear golden, small fleeting white head. Aroma was corn, grains. Taste was sweet, grains. johnnymusky (1004) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 2, 2016
