It poured a little darker than the light version of this beer. The aroma was of corn, hops, and so on. The taste was a little more pronounced in this lager, a little more bitter. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 13, 2011
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Bottle at La Fonda in Eagan, MN. Pale clear yellow pour with minimal white head. Aroma and taste of light grain. Not much going on here. seymour (2045) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - OCT 3, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 31, 2015 Tasted directly from bottle. Predictable golden color, white head, light body, no discernable hops, very fizzy, metallic aftertaste. Mainly available in Illinois and other northern states, a deliberate Anheuser Busch tactic to infiltrate Miller territory. Get it? Miller Genuine Draft = MGD = Michelob Golden Draft? As with any ol’ macro-mock-pilsner, it tastes fine ice cold outside on a really hot summer day. The coolest thing about this beer is the fluted glass bottle. ryanfolty (2553) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - JUL 31, 2011
Date: July 31, 2011 Mode: Can Source: Church Fundraiser, Prescott, WI Bought this as a donation and to get the rating. A slight step up from the light beer category but just a little more flavored water.

Dear God this was bad.
Thin golden pour with a minimal arom of anything resembling beer.
The taste was thin and slightly grassy.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2012 Tastes very similar MGD, meaning not much flavor but not nasty tasting either. phaleslu (10247) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 21, 2011
Draft at Tom’s Bar and Grill in the Central West End. Pours pretty much like every other A-B beer- pale yellow and clear with visible carbonation and a fizzy white head. Not much on the aroma- some pale malts and grassy, straw notes with a little sugary sweetness. The flavor has pale malts, grass, banana, sugar, and corny cereal grains. No skunky notes. Light-bodied with medium-high carbonation. Not much here but it worked just fine with limited options afer a long bike ride. Vikingbrew (193) - Colorado, USA - SEP 21, 2010
MGD was the first pitcher of beer I bought. At that time, this is what I thought beer was all about. I was way off. It does the trick at ballgames and concerts, but that’s where I draw the line. Just an OK cheap beer bpreo (2840) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - AUG 27, 2010
Yeah, that’s a poor beer. It’s good for what it is, but what it is, is poor. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - JUL 25, 2010
Just looking over the pale lagers and seeing the ones I missed rating, wish I had not.......
