Bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a large, puffy, white head. Has a sweet, malt flavor. The aroma is of malt, corn/cereal, is sort of fruity and is kind of sweet. Reminds me of Miller High Life And Miller Genuine Draft. Is clean, crisp, smooth and refreshing. Overall, for the price, this is a pretty good pale lager. Also, as with MGDL, I like the bottle design. hero12 (184) - Minnesota, USA - APR 14, 2008
Better than Mic Golden Light, but that really isn’t saying much. Slight skunky aroma, light golden color, not much taste, decent beer for the price. UnholyBrewing (595) - Central Florida(Upper Hell), Florida, USA - MAR 28, 2008
...hahaha, MGD. Nothing good, watery, ricey, and shit aftertaste, why do people drink this? bluemooner (657) - East Bethel, Minnesota, USA - JAN 28, 2008
UPDATED: APR 1, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours yellow gold with white head. Very easy to drink and extremely light with not much for flavor. badbeer (434) - Iowa, USA - DEC 23, 2007
Poured a clear, straw like color with a finger width white head that ran away and left no lacing. Creamed corn smell, hint of alcohol or boozy smell. Creamed corn perceived again, straw, a bit of graininess, no hop presence. Light bodied, highly carbonated. Pretty drinkable I suppose, it goes down pretty easy, but it’s just not that great.

Nice and golden. That is all it has going for it. Must be a marketing ploy - there is no flavor to go along with the name. BOBANDDOUG (61) - Belleville, Illinois, USA - SEP 16, 2007
Bottle, with week old born on date. Typical macro pale ale. Tase of corn, grass, and a yeast/sublte hop finish.
Not bad, but, would expect more from the Mich name. prosqtor (408) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 6, 2007
Golden = water, for some reason. Here’s a good example of calling something a name that sounds better to get people to buy it, when it’s the same old junk. yespr (45869) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2007
From tap. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is grassy and bubblegum. Flavour is domiinated by the same yeasty bubblegum, not much else. Decent balance between sweet and dry.
