This is probably my favorite beer from the American giants. I haven't seen it anywhere for nearly ten years though. Not that bad from what I can remember. Neat bottle.

Gold in color. somewhat sweet with a little malt flavor. Not that bad for a fairly cheap american standard.

I was told this was good beer, boy where they wrong.i still haven't found michelob to be able to produce anything that is worth while.Theres little to say except that it was little more then a poor attempt to make beer for a public that is used to not having flavor in there beer.

Golden colored liquid with a thin head. Somewhat malty flavored with a tinge of sweetness. Mostly watery and weak though with a watered down flavor.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2003 Golden color. Flavor of malt with some sweetness that reminded me of Grainbelt Premium. Thin and watery, but not terrible

Ok again this beer really isn’t that bad, a hint of malt, very clean flavor with a perfect mouth feel when one is very thirsty. And again this beer proves that the average beer drinker could care less they go for the cheaper Bud when this one is far better. I am surprised that Bud even bothers to make such a slow selling beer

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2011 I dont get the whole "draft" thing. Is there some guy at AB pouring this into bottles from a keg. Are all the other beers not supposed to be drunk from a tap, only bottles/cans. Subtracted points for the draft title, same beer different label.

Didn’t care for this one. I like Mic light better than this. Too watery.

I had always semi-enjoyed Mich Golden Draft Light, but had yet to try the heavy until now. I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful it is compared to the average American Standard. Lightly sweet and lightly bitter, it finishes very nicely and provides a good aftertaste. Aroma has hints of cereal (Fruit Loops?) The "other" MGD takes a hit on appearance, however. An initially large, frothy, white head fully diminishes into nothingness. The flat, yellow body is almost lifeless. But, close your eyes, and Mich Golden Draft emerges as one of the better American Standards.

This is what I like to call a good "work" beer. Something to wet the whistle on a Saturday afternoon while painting the house, changing the oil, or cutting the grass. Buy it for quantity, not quality. I’ve had worse.
