blah blah blah . . . absolutely nothing special here, but still better than some stuff I've had. Panzuriel (2333) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - AUG 17, 2002
Kind of a Faux Wheat beer. Definitely not great............................ joet (2654) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - AUG 13, 2002
I was at the airport looking for anything decent or some thing I hadn't rated and was happy to find this. It didn't smell like a hefe -- nothing yeasty about it. Not much aroma. Is it good that I can't tell this is a Michelob? It did look nice in my glass. I got some serious wet napkin flavors so it wasn't crispy at all. Thin and very light bodied. Stale aroma taste like any AB beer.......................................... hennes (934) - Fountain, Michigan, USA - JUL 31, 2002
Well, it looks vaguely teutonic, with a decent shadowy swirl, but the aroma announces something else, with an admixture of detergent, honey, and -- whats this? hops! The taste is mostly syrupy malt, though, with a slight dry edge to let you know that there is indeed a leaf or two of the noble hop somewhere in the brewing process.

I suppose this beer isn't too bad, keeping in mind what it is, a michelob wheat beer, not a micro brew. Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - JUL 23, 2002
Man, if this had half the taste that the look would indicate - On draft at an Applebee's 7/5/02- So thick and hazy, it looked like bannana pudding! Then I tasted it, and continued searching for the taste, this stuff was sooooo bland, not even as much taste as a regular Michelob. Sure was purty, though. Re-Rate 07/23/02: 'Chill Hazed' golden amber color, the head is adequate and white, the lace is also decent. Nose a bit 'soapy', little earthyness I look for in a 'Hefeweizen', little if any wheat tones noticed. Front is sweet, the top light, the finish is acidic, dry, a touch of hops but the sweetness carries through, still a drinkable beer, not to the standard of Widmer, or Victory to be sure. Ranks #852 on my master beer list. k2 (146) - USA - JUL 20, 2002
Pretty light for a wheat beer. It was made not to offend anyone............ SmellGood (339) - Memphis, Tennessee, USA - JUL 10, 2002
This beer looks like a good wheat beer but just tastes too sweet and too much like a typical mass produced beer.
