2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Kinda too sweet for me... The head was great and nice color. Then I tasted it and was surprised by the overpowering sweetness... too much but the finish was nice. This is a one drink beer though.
Bottle, in US. Backlog entry. Entering my historic scores for US beers whilst visiting New York. No tasting notes kept, just rating. slowrunner77 (13203) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 5, 2014
"another drinkable entry from Michelob. aroma and flavor of honey and cereal, with a slightly bitter finish. no skunk, but pretty light in flavor, and the "body" is a joke."

Pretty boring stuff here. Pale yellow pour, soapy white head...you know the drill. Some sweet "honey" notes in the aroma but that’s about all the honey you’re gonna get out of this. Overall, pretty unremarkable. jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - MAR 30, 2013
I remember liking this beer before i was into crafts. Aroma is pretty sweet, thanks to the honey. Taste is slightly off. Grains an something slightly dank. Meh, i used to like it a lot more. BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - OCT 13, 2012
Funky lingering aftertaste. Slightly sweet lager. Beer aroma without much else going on. No thanks.

Original review: 2/10/10. Poured into a pint glass. Pours a crystal clear dark gold with a thin white head on top. Leaves some spotty lacing. Smells like honey, syrup, and some grains. The mouth is crisp and easily drinkable. Carbonation level is decent. Wow. This is a really sweet beer! Tons of honey-sweetnes, puckering candy sweet. Not much for beer-flavor in this one. No hops, no grains, nothing. Not my thing. edgallow (4618) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 12, 2012
12 oz bottle pours amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy. Taste is of malt and a sweet finish. troopie (2497) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - JAN 11, 2012
Pours honey gold with thin fast dissipating head. Faint honey aroma. Light bodied, flavour is honey with a bit of a tang. Light hop finish. Not bad, but nothing to rave about. djd07 (16289) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 27, 2011
Bottle. Pours a clear orange gold with a small off white head. The aroma is honey and wheat. Medium mouthfeel with a honey malt. Not much going on with this one. seymour (2121) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - OCT 11, 2011
Tasted from bottle into standard pint glass. Pours a clear golden color with medium off-white foam. Aroma is like any basic light lager plus a slight honey essence. Taste is the same. My father-in-law introduced me to this beer, so it always reminds me of him. It was one of his favorites before he discovered better craft brews. It’s too sweet for me nowadays, but drinkable and nostalgic nonetheless.
