COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Michelob Pale Ale is a classic English-style pale ale brewed with classic noble aroma hop varieties grown in the Northwestern United States and Europe, as well as two-row and caramel barley malts. With a dark-gold color, this beer has a spicy, hoppy character. A pale ale pairs well with full-flavored meats, like steak. This beer is best enjoyed in a tall, fluted pilsner glass.

Variety pack bottle. Clean hoppy, grass, floral aroma. Nice head, that stayed for several minutes. Great pour. Flavor was hoppy, which was expected, but not as complex as I would like. Has a bit of bite to it, and is bitter as I like in an english style pale ale, but is still fairly weak, without layers. Clean finish, but I wasn’t left wanting a second, which is the hallmark of the bitters and pale ales I like most. Still, for the price, I would buy this again rather than throw my money at other beers. At least this one made an effort to win me.

Pours a clear light copper color with a white head. Aroma is crystal malt, grain, and floral hops. Flavor is caramel, grain, and some bitter earthy hops.

Finhead (1763) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - JAN 18, 2010
An clear amber-gold pour with medium off-white head. The aroma is of light floral and herbal hops, with a hint of barley. The taste has a medium body with decent hop bitterness throughout to the dry finish. Don’t let the brand scare you away from this one.

Rosebud butternuts (2396) - Denton, Texas, USA - JAN 14, 2010
bottle thanks to bhensonb. poured gold with a thin fading white head. aroma was a strong malt backbone followed by a sun block type scent and some fruityness. flavor was malt and some grassy floral hop thing going on. light-medium body with high carbonation. not bad but not good.

Pours a hazy amber. Malts and more hops than I was expecting on the nose. Very pleasant taste to it really. Floral and citrus hops shining through. If you’re expecting a very hoppy experience you won’t get that but it does have a nice hop presence to it. I was impressed really. Not a bad brew at all.

Nejhleader (1561) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 11, 2010
has an okay aroma of mild citrus hops, something was off in the taste. had a bitter alcohol taste to it that lingered in the aftertaste and made this beer not so enjoyable.

Poobah (443) - New Orleans, Louisiana, USA - JAN 9, 2010
More aroma than I expected with a little maltiness and bitterness. Amber color with nice initial head that dissipates to a rim. Mild flavor with a hint of hoppiness and sweetness in the finish and a barely detectable metallic quality. Fairly thin, smooth mouthfeel. Decent. Nice labeling

DYCSoccer17 (3698) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 17, 2009
12 ounce bottle from a mixed 12 pack. Aroma is kinda of a musty, stale, swampy hop aroma. Lightly grassy and metallic. Transparent copper body with a decent, frothy off yellow head. Starts with a little grassy and herbal hop flavoring. Becomes a little cardboardy in the middle, before finishing with just a bit of herbal spicy hoppiness. A little thin, and somewhat unoffensive, if not pedestrian.

marcus (10232) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 10, 2009
Pours golden amber with a modest white head and a light malt aroma. The caramel malt actually has some flavor and there is a modicum of hop bitterness. It’s a step up for Michelob, but doesn’ t hold up to the good microbrews.

Beerdrinker79 (2188) - Idaho, USA - DEC 8, 2009
12 oz. bottle- Pours amber golden with little head, almost no aroma and the flavor is not that great. A very boring- mediocre Pale ale.
