COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Michelob Pale Ale is a classic English-style pale ale brewed with classic noble aroma hop varieties grown in the Northwestern United States and Europe, as well as two-row and caramel barley malts. With a dark-gold color, this beer has a spicy, hoppy character. A pale ale pairs well with full-flavored meats, like steak. This beer is best enjoyed in a tall, fluted pilsner glass.

djd07 (15093) - Houston, Texas, USA - APR 9, 2010
Bottle. Pours a copper with a small frothy off white head that leaves good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a vegetable malt with raisin and hay. Medium mouthfeel with a bitter malt with a dry finish. Not too much going on with this pale ale from Michelob.

12 oz. bottle from a sampler. Pours auburn colored with a permanent one finger head. Subtle hop aroma with a smooth malt backbone. Taste is citrus hops and green apple with little maltiness to speak of. Thin body and slightly watery.

jcwattsrugger (12434) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JAN 20, 2008
12 oz bottle-pours an off white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is medium malt, husky, secondary earthy hops. Taste is medium malt-some caramel, secondary hops (English and continental?), crisp. Thin finish. OK carbonation.

2.5
shrubber85 (11452) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - NOV 22, 2006
Bottle. Orange-strawberry malt aroma. Clear amber color with small head. Slightly sweet caramel malt flavor - mild hops finish. Moderate acidity and carbonation. Not bad - like other A-B specialty beers, toned down for their average customer.

2.8
hopscotch (11161) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 3, 2008
Bottle... Lightly-hazed golden ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Good retention. Fruity, earthy aroma of mandarin orange, orange blossoms, and fallen brown pine needles with rumors of fresh canvas, charcoal ash and damp leather. Medium to full-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Well balanced, well bittered and technically well made, but seems uninspired. Short, crisp, lightly bitter finish.
