COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Michelob ULTRA Pomegranate Raspberry delivers a unique berry aroma that finishes with a hint of pomegranate. Drink Michelob ULTRA Fruit Pomegranate Raspberry with marinated pork and fresh vegetables. The subtle hint of berry in the beer plays off the tenderness of the meat.

Bottled. Very pale yellow, no head. Artificial marachino aroma followed up by plastic and saccharine. Then glue and DrPepper takes over for a while before it mercifully fades out in a swamp of raspberry syrup. God help me.

A: The pour is about as light as yellow can get with a white head that dies nearly instantaneously. S: Sweet, sugary, fake raspberries come through immediately. The slightly tart pomegranate comes next, but that is sweetened up as well. Definitely fruity... T: The fruit flavor is nearly completely masked by the overwhelming carbonation. Tonic water with a splash of raspberry flavoring. M: The body is light, very light, and the carbonation is excessive, to say the least. D: This isnt offensive, at least, but it would be cheaper to just buy a bottle of flavored soda or tonic water.

Clear glass bottle from Hi-Time. Aroma as advertised; a bit more pom than ras. Golden color with a white head that left rapidly while trying to lace in a spotty fashion. Thin body with creamy/fizzy carbonation. A bit corny; overlaid with fruit flavors - more rasp than pom. Finish is ok, primarily raspberry seed, and not so sweet as it tasted at first. No hint of hop bitter, but then this is from AB.

Bottle poured a clear yellow with a small lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of raspberry, cookie and pomegranate. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of pomegranate, raspberry and cookie with a crisp clean finish.

Bottle from Kroger. Poured clear golden color with a large fizzy white head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Moderate sweet fruity aroma. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with light sweet finish of short duration. This beer did meet my expectations after the other version.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden with small frothy head. Berry aroma and rasberry. Tangy flavor and watery. Not much going on with this one.

Drake (13175) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 8, 2013
12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a thin fizzy white head. Poor head retention. Aroma of sweet candy-ish fruits that dont really resemble anything. The taste is pale grainy malts, mild berry-like fruits and a hint of urinal cake. Thin bodied. Dreck.

"aroma was the strongest of the ultra line. pleasing at first, but the flavor that followed was just a little too cloying and artificial. a near miss. the female in our group liked it best - i liked it least (just barely) of the three. not offensive at all, but not worth buying either."

Bottle. Raspberry and pomegranate aroma. Medium yellow with minimal head and moderate effervescense. Sweet raspberry/pomegranate flavor with the most fleeting of malt flavors and moderate carbonation - like a bad diet fruit soda. Nice flavor but nothing that could be considered beer - thank God I only had to buy one.
