After my tasting of the Michelob Ultra Lime Cactus, I was debating if I should save myself the time and just open the bottle and pour it down the drain without a moment of hesitation but alas I figured why not be a ratings whore today and abuse my palate some more!
I opened the bottle (bought as a single) and poured it into my pint glass: Grassy light golden hue with a quickly disappearing fizzy head and zero lace. The aroma smells just like a orange Slice soda which in itself is not so bad but alas this is suppose to be a beer right? I guess if really take a deep inhale I can pick out some soapy pale malt but zero hints of any grapefruit vapours. Weeeeee....
The taste is gosh darn AWFUL, think of an OLD CAN of "insert your favorite orange soda here" with a hint of old pale grains. There is little else I can say but to AVOID this crap at all cost. Clearly aimed at the flavored wine cooler crowd. This is even worse than the Lime "beer" was...arggh!
weakest in aroma and flavor of the ultra fruit line. not bad, though. a refreshing light beer, obviously uncomplicated. some citrus fruit atop a non skunky straw beer...about all one could ask for of this beer."

Watery thin with a soda head. The flavorings are artificial it seems with the grapefruit tasting sour. Not a good beer at all. jcweaver (768) - VA Beach, Virginia, USA - NOV 11, 2011
Bottle. Pours pale yellow with a small white head. Orange aroma with a hint of grapefruit. Watery with a flavor similar to the aroma. pkbites (938) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 28, 2010
Average looking corn water pour, but the head does leave some nice lacing.
Nice aroma of orange and grapefruit. The flavor is of orange and grapefruit, but not heavily so. Unlike many flavored brews this one doesn’t get sickening right away.
No hops and little malt flavor. There is little on the palate that identifies this as a beer. But it is a very refreshing thirst quencher, so I’m giving it high marks for that. coyforce (684) - California, USA - MAR 31, 2010
Surprisingly a nice smooth beer. Aroma is citrus. Pours a beautiful golden yellow, but if you blink you miss the bright white head. One can distinctly taste the orange and grapefruit separately.
Michelob really did a good job on this fruit beer. My largest complaint is that the there is a definite lack of "beer" flavor. One might mistake this for a carbonated fruit water.

Starts off like a grapefruit soda water and then you get hit with that stinky Milwaukee taste. Bottle at ABC liquors, Miami. halfonit (1356) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 9, 2009
Pale yellow color. Aroma is of malts, rice, corn, and very (very) little orange. Taste is a little better than expected. Flavor does in fact have a little bit of an orange with your typical watered down AB taste in the background. This might actually be a decent brew to have on a super hot summer day while at a picnic. obguthr (6299) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - NOV 1, 2009
Aroma of corn and oranges. Clear yellow, thin vanishing head. Stale corn and rotten orange flavor, some oxidation, as well. Bad even for alcopop. I’d rather just have plain water. blipp (9168) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 11, 2009
Bottle. Pours light gold with a white head. Light aroma of orange soda. Tastes like blend of about 75% Michelob Ultra and 25% orange soda. Not that bad. The fake orange flavor covers up most of the malt adjunct flavors. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - OCT 6, 2009
Mixed 6, they really are pushing craft with that label. Pours a golden pale body with white head. Light orange and berry, thin and grainy weak body, i didn’t like this much at all.
