I once saw a guy drinking a bottle of Mich in his car while eating a Goo Goo Cluster in the parking lot of a supermarket before turning the ignition and blazing off down the highway. That's all I can say for this beer. If that doesn't inspire greatness, I dunno what does. Slightly better than your average rotten American cheap swill.

5/8/17 (Las Vegas, NV). 12 oz bottle, no pour, purchased at Casino Royale, the best $1 beer special on The Las Vegas Strip! Long standing special, Casino Royale is a great center strip casino to pop in for a bottle or two of Michelob. Clear blond, mild hops and malt aroma. Mild taste of malt and hops. Solid carbonation and mouth feel. Overall OK offering and hope the $1 bottles continue at Casino Royale for another 25 years!

From old tasting notes. Brilliant gold color with a bubbly white head. Faintly sweet fruity malt aroma. Light semisweet malt flavor upfront. Thin watery middle. Light dry hop finish.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, off white head, over a clear yellow (SRM 3) body......nose is mild malts, light hops spice.....taste is mildly sweet with hint of pear, apple, mild hop spices, finishing with hints of bitterness.....mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, high carbonation. This meets this insipid, dull, uninteresting style quite well. It is perfect for a hot day in the desert, but awful for anything else. BJCP 7/3/14/4/6

Originally rated on 1/28/10. Aroma of grass, malt and and some hops. A golden yellow body, not much carbonation, head or lace. Standard lager taste, overall not much going on at all.

Backlog. Multiple times back in the US. Not much to say really. Not overly sweet at least and refreshing. Thatís about all I guess.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2016 This was always my favorite American style lager. Enough body to keep it from being watery but also goes down super smooth like this style is trying for. For the style about as good as it gets. Donít know why anyone would drink Coors or Budweiser over this.

Michelob is basically Budweiser without the rice and perhaps most of the beechwood aging.. It might not be an all malt, but it appears rather close, but it is balanced unoffending brew that has some hops but.., albeit boring brew. The thing about Michelob (and itís light version) is that it is strangely hard to find now. Itís like Anheuser Busch doesnít want it to "compete" with Budweiser, Bud Light of Michelob Ultra sales(?). Why is this?

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2017 Bottle poured to pint glass very cold beer Appearance: Light yellow head, a lot of lacing Aroma: scent smell of malt, nothing else Taste: not really great Mouth feel: very carbonated Overall: good beer for the hot weather, specially camping outdoors, nothing special One of the cheapest beers in the grocery aisle just got it to taste it, i promise not to do it again
