I once saw a guy drinking a bottle of Mich in his car while eating a Goo Goo Cluster in the parking lot of a supermarket before turning the ignition and blazing off down the highway. That's all I can say for this beer. If that doesn't inspire greatness, I dunno what does. Slightly better than your average rotten American cheap swill.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, off white head, over a clear yellow (SRM 3) body......nose is mild malts, light hops spice.....taste is mildly sweet with hint of pear, apple, mild hop spices, finishing with hints of bitterness.....mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, high carbonation. This meets this insipid, dull, uninteresting style quite well. It is perfect for a hot day in the desert, but awful for anything else. BJCP 7/3/14/4/6

Originally rated on 1/28/10. Aroma of grass, malt and and some hops. A golden yellow body, not much carbonation, head or lace. Standard lager taste, overall not much going on at all.

Backlog. Multiple times back in the US. Not much to say really. Not overly sweet at least and refreshing. Thats about all I guess.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2016 This was always my favorite American style lager. Enough body to keep it from being watery but also goes down super smooth like this style is trying for. For the style about as good as it gets. Dont know why anyone would drink Coors or Budweiser over this.

Michelob is basically Budweiser without the rice and perhaps most of the beechwood aging.. It might not be an all malt, but it appears rather close, but it is balanced unoffending brew that has some hops but.., albeit boring brew. The thing about Michelob (and its light version) is that it is strangely hard to find now. Its like Anheuser Busch doesnt want it to "compete" with Budweiser, Bud Light of Michelob Ultra sales(?). Why is this?

Golden with a dense white head. Aromas of bready cereals, malts and some corn develops. Rather fizzy with a watery texture and a light body. rather malty sweet with then nothing else developing really, just a malty finish.

Just as watery as you could expect from an American mass produced lager. The bottle is more exciting than the contents.

Twelve ounce bottle from The Party Source, tasted on November 26, 2015. Gold hue, cheap adjunct aroma, taste is a bitter trip to Adjunct City with a hint of cardboard. I remember the pre-craft days when this was considered a really premium beer and an expensive one at $2.00 a six pack. Either my palate has improved, this stuff has declined in quality, or, most likely, both. Its still better than its AB InBev cousin Budweiser, but so what?
