Super fruity dunkelweizen. Certainly doens’t taste traditional but it isn’t bad.

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2013 Pint at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma and flavor of chocolate, wheat, caramel And banana. A good drinkable beer for a little place in Sparta.

esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 1, 2012
Clear copper with a creamy tan slowly fading topper that hides its tracks. Aroma of brown sugar, dough, nuts and yeast. Taste is thin bodied with light caramel, light toffee and a touch of banana.

355 ml bottle from Trvir. Had in Germany. Pours a drak murky brown color with a beutiful dark tan head. Aroma is a really nice dark coco, wheat, burnt bananas and citrus and it really nice as well. From here this beer that I had hig hopes for crashes and burns. Taste is very short, dark malt coco and smoke but it fades so fast it is hard to detect. The palate is ok but there is nothing there. Little flavor or taste. Disapointing to say the least.

HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - AUG 18, 2011
Nice pint from the brewery. Pours a dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma of chocolate covered bananas, strong wheat, nice caramel. Decent flavor of banana, wheat, and chocolate. Pretty solid, albeit the mouthfeel is a bit thin. Considering the size of this place it’s pretty impressive though.

badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 12, 2011
draft at mich beer cellar. this one was bad. light brown body. light malt and sugar in the aroma and flavor. quite indistinct and watered down, this beer offers none of the heft i expect from a solid dunkel.

Tmoney99 (15119) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 29, 2010
Draft sample. Poured cloudy dark brown color with an average fizzy off-white head that was lasting and produced good lacing. Moderate toasted caramel malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate malty sweet flavor with with a moderate sweet finish of average duration.
