Light orangish pour, whitish head. Citrus, floral and earthy hops dominate with some nice fruity caramel malt in the background. Not a bad little brew here! Vir4030 (603) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 28, 2010
Pours up on tap at the brewery with a brownish orange and no head. Hoppy aroma with apricot. Bit of a watery flavor, and quite hoppy. agillespie81 (315) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 21, 2010
Aroma - basic floral, faint apple notes, hint of caramel;
Appearance - copper, slightly hazy, extremely think head, excellent lacing;
Taste - heavy hop front, back blends a subtle spiciness with a balanced malt profile, finish is long and tart;
Palate - slightly crisp, pretty good body;
Overall - solid in all areas though nothing really stands out. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - SEP 20, 2010
[Bottle] Pours a light orange color with a large cap of white head. Aroma of pine and grapefruit. Sweet malt backbone with some toffee. Overall a lingering bitter finish with some astringency. Average mouthfeel and body. High carbonation. Has a nice hop kick, but is otherwise pretty standard. pchiodo (27) - Barrie, CANADA - AUG 15, 2010
This is a great IPA just enough hops to push it right to the edge, but well balanced so you can drink alot of it. Very well done.

The store that set up a big display and promotion for Michigan Beers six weeks ago now has most of the brews deeply discounted and dumped into a cart labelled "discontinued items." Well - get it when you can. drowland (9186) - Georgia, USA - JUL 27, 2010
Pour form a 12 oz bottle is cloudy copper with a thinish off white head. Aroma is pungent and good - lots of citrus and pine hops with a carmel under pinning. Flavor is excellent - strong hoppiness and complex hoppiness belies a pretty nice malt backbone. Lively carbonation and stong hops gives this a real tingle as you swallow. A pretty serious IPA that is seriously good.
7/24/10. 12oz bottle courtesy Cavie. Very malty, a hint of black tea, not much hop presence. Eh. mar (5458) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 23, 2010
Hazy amber with a thin cream head. Nose is piney hops, bitter, and sticky. Nice on the palate, flavor is bitter pine hops, malts, and a resiny finish. StefanSD (2468) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - JUL 22, 2010
Pint glass at the detroit airport while waiting for a connecting flight to gr for rbsg. A light copper pour with a small white head that soon recedes to a fine riing and shows some minor lacing. Aroma is mild with pine and salty malts. The flavor is robust with piney hops. Loads of biscuit and some walnuts. Palate is full and malty smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes short and lightly biter. Rated on my cell. Very tasty stuff. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUL 10, 2010
The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is a mixture of various hop characteristics including floral and citrus along with some caramel malt and bready malt. The flavor starts off with piney and resiny hops but I also get some floral and citrus notes. The caramel malt backbone keeps the bitterness pretty low. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. I was surprised by how nice this beer was.
