COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of a legendary style is not for the timid. Strong, assertively hoppy and dangerously seductive. A skillful blend of three premium barley malts with generous amounts of Northern Brewer and Cascade Hops creates a special ale to satisfy even the most demanding palate.

I look at all these high ratings and think I had an old bottle. Odd aroma. Bland malty taste. Very uninteresting beer.

The aroma of this beer is no my thing smells like India. A little cloudy looks like beer. Interesting flavour. I was surprised at the alc. content It doesn't taste strong. Which is surprising. I would drink this beer again if I can ever find it.

Pours a hazy copper color. Thin head. Hardly any aroma at all. Taste is too sweet. I don’t get any hop flavor. Wait around after you swallow a bit and some bitterness shows up.

Pours a golden brown, has lots of loogie brown sediment on the bottom of the bottle .. . Very clean Maple syrup smell, some honey and light honey liquor .. . pretty goodamount of bitters, almost balanced, kinda muddled .. . no off flavours .. . no real abv detected except slightly in the nose .. . leg thing? .. . an ok IPA but shows the michigan brewing charm...

Easier on the palate than most IPAs. Definitely a sessionable beer. orange/apricot aroma. Taste is weak. Nothing special - would not buy again, but would accept if given.

Cavie (4717) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JAN 8, 2010
Gold pour. Lots of sediment suspended in it. Sweet hops on the aroma. Fresh smelling but has a fading sense. Taste is bitter with tart hops. Earth tones but tastes a bit old. Might be past it’s prime. Finish is chalky bitter.

Funknmilla (745) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 10, 2014
-12 oz. bottle -cloudy light copper w/ a fluffy light beige head -light hoppy aroma and taste - -a little malt backbone, but not enough to make this a great IPA -its a watered down orange driven IPA that finishes without a fight -perhaps a bad bottle? -rating from 2-9-2010

Bottled, 355ml plastic bottle with plastic screw cap. Soupy brown with no head. I don’t know if the plastic bottle thing was a past experiment, but it doesn’t seem to work. Mixed up, confused, slightly rancid fruit notes on the border of being undrinkable, but the iron gut managed to accept it. Very poor, which is a shame as it was a gift from a kind benefactor.
