3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
aroma is good pine and lemon. lightly bready malt creeps in. appearance is big legs, lasting head, clouded gold. flavor is excellent balance of well developed malts presenting as fresh bread along side fresh lemon zest and bare tips of other tropical fruits. mouthfeel is satisfyingly full and coating.
Hoppy aroma but not overpowering. Mild but balanced taste. Smooth finish. Decent beer. Funknmilla (745) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 10, 2014
-12 oz. bottle
-cloudy light copper w/ a fluffy light beige head
-light hoppy aroma and taste
-a little malt backbone, but not enough to make this a great IPA
-its a watered down orange driven IPA that finishes without a fight
-perhaps a bad bottle?

Bottle. Orange colored, white head; typical IPA look. Grassy, fruity, citrus; fading somewhat, seems to be a little older bottle. Not the best IPA, drinkable, but there are many better options. Since it says formerly brewed it may not even be available anymore. Had this in ~2010. Brentv (672) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 31, 2013
On tap at Detroit airport Online Cafe. Golden pour, white head. Insane amounts of lacing on the glass. Citrus aroma, nicely hopped, moderate malty sweetness balanced toward bitter but not too far. rumproasts (5356) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 7, 2013
tap @ now defunct brewpub on 16 Nov 2011. easily MBC’s best offering. pretty solid IPA with good blend of hops. I actually miss this one.

12oz bottle from orphan corner, pours a hazy dark orange with off white head. Decent lacing on the glass. The aroma is citrus mostly. The flavor comes across as citrus in nature. Pretty good IPA not overly bitter with hops. Has nice flavor. dreadnord (1012) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Pours hazy golden and copper with a small white head. Nose smells like overripe oranges and other citrus fruits, not much pine or other bitter smells though. Taste is rather bitter though, a little bit of sweet, but the flavor seems to be the best this thing has going for it. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, thin body and a long finish. bottle. Poured cloudy orange with sediment, average off-white head. Nice hop aroma, citrusy and grassy. Thick creamy mouthfeel, smooth carbonation. Malt flavour with expected grapefruit and piney hop notes. Tart sticky finish. rondphoto (4431) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUL 20, 2012
Aroma wafts between caramel and pine hops. Pours a hazy orange amber with a head cover of globules and big sheets of lace. The taste is as advertised - lots of hops taking over a nice roasted caramel malt. The hops, though not particularly strong, linger long after the finish. Goes well with spicy food (especially Taco Bell). Too bad about the 7% abv; otherfwise it is a candidate for session drinking. Recommended. Digital_Aura (228) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 10, 2012
355ml bottle from variety pack. Not much scent... You can smell some hops. Pours golden brown (Lovibond 10) and mostly opaque. Small head, mostly lace. Lots of particles floating around! wonderful grapefruit tang but not so much bitterness as their mackinac pale ale which was slightly better in my opinion.
