Draught at Coles, Buffalo, NY. Pours a clear deep orange with a spare diminishing white head. Lovely aroma of pumpkin, spices and even some eggnog. Flavour: Wow, I love it! Pumpkin and spices and with a light bitter finish. Good body for the style. Quite possibly the best beer I’ve had from Michigan Brewing, this is damn good stuff. 12oz bottle. Pours a medium orange amber with a thin white ring. Big nose of pumpkin spice, nutmeg and clove. Flavor was of toasted malt and spice, one of the better pumpkin brews I’ve had. jercraigs (10651) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 8, 2009
2008-12-05. Orange amber body with a modest off-white head. (3+) Pleasant aroma of spice, cinnamon mostly, nutmeg? (8+) Sweet flavour, spice with a solid sweet malt base. Spice is a bit dominating, but tasty. Cinnamon, sweet malt, very light kiss of caramel undertones, melange of spices. Cinnamon is dominant. (8+) Average plus palate. (3+) Could be a bit much in quantity but the rich malt base is like what I remember from last years Pumking. Rather good. Criminally under rated if its always as good as this pint was! But then perhaps it just caught me at the right time. /On tap at Coles, Buffalo

Bottle from dpjuart, thanks Dave. Poured a clear copper-orange color with a moderate light beige head that faded to a thick ring. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon covered crust, nutmeg, and hints of red hots. Smooth, lightly spicy entry with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg transition into a pumpkin pie flavor with some light brown sugar and a lightly spicy finish with hints of red hots similar to those found in the nose. Moderate carbonation, a bit thin on the palate, but not bad. Seems a bit artificial in terms of spicing, but it is easy to drink. pjweaver (136) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JAN 4, 2009
Great aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie. Just all around a great smelling beer. Pours a dark nutmeg color, with a slightly offwhite thick head. Flavors predominantly of cinnamon, nutmeg, little pumpkin, lots of spice. Great autumn flavors. Lingering spice on the palate, gets kind of a tangy aftertaste though.
Great beer at a great price for the fall, I suggest picking it up if you haven’t for next year. DougShoemaker (3146) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 9, 2008
On tap at Cole’s.
Spicy nose, cinnamon, allspice, amber/orange, small custard head. Taste has a spicy start, again, allspice, nutmeg, malt is there too. Medium bodied, sweet, spicy and tasty. Very good. blipp (9501) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 8, 2008
Bottle. Pours red with an off white head. The aroma is pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg and cinnamon. The flavor has pie crust, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg and cinnamon. Very impressive. AllAboutStout (605) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 29, 2008
I had heard good things about this, can’t wait to try it.
Pours a reddish brown color with about half inch of head. Looks nice. Smell is pumpkin, vanilla, some spice and some underlying malt.
Taste is exactly what I’m looking for. Liquid pumpkin pie. Not overly spiced and vegetal like others. Very sweet and dessert like. This is right there with Schlafly’s Pumpkin beer.
Near perfect amount of carbonation. Very easy beer to enjoy.
