From dra19 via trade. Thanks Dennis! The pour was a clear copper and ruby color with a fizzy, off-white head that was maybe one-finger tall and evaporated in a flash. Minimal lacing. Initial aroma is powerful cloves with cinnamon softening the blow. As it opened up the clove/cinnamon combo was unable to mask a pretty average aroma of cardboard and light dry hops. The flavor was dry clove and cinnamon over a pedestrian ale. Thin mouthfeel. Not terrible. shadey (2177) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 9, 2007
12oz bottle consumed around Halloween 2007 in a side by side tasting with Arcadia Jaw Jacker. Deep clear amber pour with a head of thin white wispy lace. Aroma is pleasant even from feet away. Up close the aroma is quite strong - but nice. Rich pumpkin pie flavor that reminds me of thanksgiving dessert. I wasn’t expecting much but this turned out to be really nice. 8/4/7/3/16 Tessic (1283) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 28, 2007
This ale poured a medium orange colour with a fast disipating head. To the nose there was scents of Allspice and nutmeg, bubble gum and...cake??? First taste was really spicey with flavours of Nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. That light bubblegum flavour??? the finish is, go figure, spicey and the palate has a small bitterness about it. Not bad, very spiced!! kmweaver (3208) - Petaluma, California, USA - NOV 23, 2007
12oz bottle, courtesy of pjweaver (my bro). Thanks, Phil! Pours a clear, bold orange-amber color; fluffy white head with good retention and lacing. Very generous, soft spicing in the aroma; mostly nutmeg with some cinnamon and toasty vanilla. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: pleasant amber ale underneath everything (clear; light carbonation), surrounded by warming nutmeg and cinnamon; none of the typical spice harshness, just toasty and warm spicing. Medium, candy sugar and nutmeg in the finish; a bit dry. BDR (2535) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - NOV 21, 2007

Aroma is of allspice and nutmeg, as expected. Pours a crystal amber color with some orange tones in the head. The bubbles are very larger on the side of the glass and moving wuickly. The flavor is all nutmeg, allspice, and pumpkin pie with little or no other flavor contributed from the malts and hops. Overall, I hate pumpkin ales, but this one is quite tolerable. Orangish amber in color. About two fingers of dirty white head that dissipates quickly. Strong smell of spices. Hint of pumkin with a stronger hint of ginger. barleyPops (1183) - Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA - OCT 19, 2007
aroma is fantastic for a pumpkin beer. reminds me of a local ice cream place which offers pumpkin shakes, just like sticking your nose in a can of pumpkin oie filling. as good as the aroma starts out, the flavor is a bit over the top. ginger is quite strong with cinnamon, nutmeg and all-spice not far behind. pretty good for the style, but by the end it got a little old. its like you can eat one or two pieces of pumpkin pie, but not the whole pie at one sitting. thanks to Styles for the bottle. Sampled from 12-oz bottle at Cellar’s Wine and Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a copper amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a ring and film top. Aroma of spiced pumpkin filling, cinnamon, nutmeg and some mince meat raisin. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a pumpkin filling flavor. Finish is semi-sweet with a spicey pumpkin aftertaste. No doubt, Mr. Peter Peter would be proud of this one. sliplever (3) - new kensington, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 16, 2007 does not count
Smells like pumpkin pie. Looks Great! But, it just tastes like cinnamon water. It is so thin with almost 0 other flavor! I don’t turn down beers often, but this one is going right down the drain.
