Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Warehouse Liquors in Duluth, Minnesota. Pours a clear light copper amber brew with a thin off-white head that slowly dissipates to a white ring. Aroma of roasted caramel malt, some lemon citrus zest, roasted nuts and a touch of cardboard. Taste is medium bodied, some caramel malt and lemon skin. Finish is slightly dry, metallic with a slight acidic vinegar finish which may be an old bottle. tyler_mn (1475) - SLP, Minnesota, USA - DEC 26, 2007
12oz bottle. Very light aroma of bread, wet grass and lemon zest. Pours a nice looking clear copper/amber. Fairly earthy and hoppy on the palate. Toasty malt with some dried biscuit. Lemon zest and grass. Medium bodied. Tmoney99 (14764) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 4, 2007
Draft at new brewpub. Poured clear amber color with a moderate frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate sweet hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium biitersweet flavor with a small bitter finish of moderate duration. Drinkable smooth brew. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 5, 2007
(12oz bottle) Clear dark amber body with small beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, bread/pastry, caramel, lager yeast/lemon. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, cookie, toast, some nut, light earthy. Light-medium body, some stickiness. Could stand to lose a little bit of the sweetness. doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - AUG 2, 2007
Fruit, cardboard, and sweet malt aroma. Amber with creamy lasting head. Malt, fruit, mild hops, and cream flavour. Fairly smooth with hoppy finish.

12oz one of the last of the multipack that I was not looking forward to. Orange/red color with small white/off-white head. Slight aroma of malt. Flavor was not pleasing but it may just because I’m coming off of Bam Biere, after I get used to it a bit I taste some doughy malt and doughiness, grain and some bittering hops. Creamy med body. After I get used to it, it isn’t all that bad, surprisingly one of the better ones from this brewery. Dogfish120 (143) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUL 18, 2007
On draft: Thin white head dissipating quickly, nice lacing throughout. Distinguished nutty and toasty notes with a sweet fruity nose. Sweetness of fruit and honey, dry hoppy nose and nice dry finish. A decent brew. jtw (1165) - farmington, Michigan, USA - APR 28, 2007
a true-to-description amber color of moderate carbonation and head. aroma of caramel and toast, along with a slightly industrial ’lager yeast’ element. smoother and sweeter than the aroma suggests - surprisingly so! lingering sweetness of honey and brown sugar and the hops are noticeable only when you realize that without them, this would be like drinking brown kool-aid. better than i expected, and better than some of their other brews. Bottle, poured a amber gold, sweet malt and some caramel fragrances, faint hop bouquet
aroma, taste of malt and dark malt, little sweetness with a small hop bite on the palate, there is a lager taste to this beer, it is faint though, very easy drinking stuff.

this is a very well rounded Vienna and the use of Hallertauer is not only apparent but very nicely done but the malt seems to disappear completely
