Nice looking beer - solid amber color with a small creamy head. Malty aroma. Flavor was caramel and fruity, especialy grapefruit, though not too bitter. Well balanced, a nice warm beer. Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - SEP 29, 2006
Good amber color, small off white head that had a short hang time then faded to leave a little behind. The aroma was malty with some caramel and light fruit. The flavor came off as much the same as the aroma with a bit of a hop bite in the end.it actually was not that bad....kind of pleasant in a way and well worth having a few more around. bottle-copper amber with a small froathy white head. nose of amber grains, light dark fruit and some earhy malt character. flavors are earthy, caramel malt, toasted grains and some light spicy hops that begin to build as the beer warmed. body lacks complexity and falls flat. othewise, this beer is not bad. some spicy hops show up as it warmed in the finish. not bad. mvp (261) - Harper Woods, Michigan, USA - JUL 29, 2006
Why can’t the big beer companies brew their beer like this one? Pleasent aroma lasts. Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JUL 20, 2006
Good looking beer, pouring the color of a shiny new penny with a two-fingered, off-white head. The aroma is a sweet malt, almost worty, with a touch of herbal bitterness. These balance out nicely in the flavor, creating a tasty, sessionable lager.

Made a decent appearance, poured a clear copper with a foamy white head that settled into a thin foamy lacing, good carbonation.
Had a malty nose of sweet barley and wheat, a faint coffee, also fruity with grassy hoppiness.
A crisp, slightly slick and smooth light bodied mouthfeel, good drinkability.
Nice malty taste, sweet and a bit sugary, barley, a soft caramel infused coffee, fruity with a grassy hop briskness towards the end and a dry hoppy and malty finish.
Another nice brew from Michigan Brewing, tasty and balanced.

A nice orangey amber color, like that of a sunset, with a thin collar of white foam. Aroma shows a lot of caramel, though the overall impression is dry. Flavor has hop flavor and good malt as is in the aroma with a very nice and complex profile with a rather intense hop flavor and dry malt competing into a long finish. To quote a friend, "I did not find this beer offensive, and I would drink it if nothing better was available. But I would buy six pack to share with my friends." My biggest complaint was that I just did not like the flavour. It need more hops. turbo (1271) - Arizona, USA - OCT 26, 2005
Bottle poured orange with a small head, big carbonation.
Aroma and flavor is sweet malt, hops, corn and just a bit of skunk.

Had a moderate bitter aroma. Light amber body color with thin head. Flavor was mainly moderate bitter also with some malty preasence not much. Yes this would most likely be served at pizza joint I would suppose if it is to go good with food.
