Had a moderate bitter aroma. Light amber body color with thin head. Flavor was mainly moderate bitter also with some malty preasence not much. Yes this would most likely be served at pizza joint I would suppose if it is to go good with food. Pigfoot (2268) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 2, 2005
clear, amber color, short-lived head.
sweet nose, caramel-y, deep and fruity, slightly spicy.
Taste: nice, hoppy a bit, fruity, ...but, a bit too mild on the palate. Dies off too quickly. Lays easily on the mouth a bit, but doesn’t make much of an impact.
An adequate, run of the mill amber ale, easy drinking, but nothing much.
Not a beer that I’d ever turn away, but nothing to knock your granny over to get, either.

Pours amber with a thick fluffy head that last a few minutes. Strong malt aroma. Sweet from beginning to end. With light hop finish. MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2009
Bottle from the brewery- Deep orangey amber with a fizzy white cap. Nose of grainy malts, some caramel, fresh floral hops, some perfume. Sweet caramel malts meet grains and floral bitter hops. Prickly carbonation and a bit too sweet towards the finish. Pretty good. overall. SuIIy (1983) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - NOV 25, 2009
Bottle. Pours a clear light brown color with a small off white head. Head recedes to nothing. Nose Is light caramel with some stale malts. Palate is thin and clean. Flavors of light nuts and stale malt notes.

Good amber color, small off white head that had a short hang time then faded to leave a little behind. The aroma was malty with some caramel and light fruit. The flavor came off as much the same as the aroma with a bit of a hop bite in the end.it actually was not that bad....kind of pleasant in a way and well worth having a few more around. Yep, thats the color of a Michigan sunset! Big tan head, too! Nose is faint, malty sweet. Burnt, crispy maltiness. Sweetness of caramel lies underneath as it warms. Somewhat raisony aftertaste, some hints of peated malt as well. strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - JAN 20, 2011
Bottle. Amber, clear, frothy white head. Medium to mild carbonation.Light malty aroma. Mild taste, very drinkable... but nothing outstanding. Would complement food well. jpm30 (1587) - East Central, Georgia, USA - JUN 30, 2006
Made a decent appearance, poured a clear copper with a foamy white head that settled into a thin foamy lacing, good carbonation.
Had a malty nose of sweet barley and wheat, a faint coffee, also fruity with grassy hoppiness.
A crisp, slightly slick and smooth light bodied mouthfeel, good drinkability.
Nice malty taste, sweet and a bit sugary, barley, a soft caramel infused coffee, fruity with a grassy hop briskness towards the end and a dry hoppy and malty finish.
Another nice brew from Michigan Brewing, tasty and balanced.

Bottle, poured a amber gold, sweet malt and some caramel fragrances, faint hop bouquet
aroma, taste of malt and dark malt, little sweetness with a small hop bite on the palate, there is a lager taste to this beer, it is faint though, very easy drinking stuff.
