COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bright golden color, well rounded flavor and exceptional drinkability characterize this very refreshing ale. A delicate balance between pale malts and Hallertauer hops creates a very palatable, light, fruity ale. A great entry level beer for newcomers to fine hand-crafted ales.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Amber brew with off white head. Not much in the aroma dept. Tast is nice - simple malts with a bit of grassy / bitter hops in the finish. Clean and refreshing, good brew.

12oz bottle. Very light aroma of bread, wet grass and lemon zest. Pours a nice looking clear copper/amber. Fairly earthy and hoppy on the palate. Toasty malt with some dried biscuit. Lemon zest and grass. Medium bodied.

Light hazy bright orange appearance, I guess kind of like a sunset. The aroma was fresh, sweet malt. Light choclatey note in the body, oily with nice hops coming through as fruity and slightly roasty. Finishes with a medium length. A rather nice vienna, altough I think Robertus is the standout but not really comparable.

12oz one of the last of the multipack that I was not looking forward to. Orange/red color with small white/off-white head. Slight aroma of malt. Flavor was not pleasing but it may just because I’m coming off of Bam Biere, after I get used to it a bit I taste some doughy malt and doughiness, grain and some bittering hops. Creamy med body. After I get used to it, it isn’t all that bad, surprisingly one of the better ones from this brewery.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2004 Orangy amber colour with a quick to go light orangy frothy head on it. Sweet malty aroma. Slight sour dry hop bitter in favour. Smooth creamy palate. Nothing too special but decent.

Bottle poured orange with a small head, big carbonation. Aroma and flavor is sweet malt, hops, corn and just a bit of skunk. So-So.

The commercial description says it all so there is no point of me repeating it. My second Vienna this one is a little bit more flavorful than the others that I’ve had. Decent. Liked it probably would get it again on tap where avaliable.

a true-to-description amber color of moderate carbonation and head. aroma of caramel and toast, along with a slightly industrial ’lager yeast’ element. smoother and sweeter than the aroma suggests - surprisingly so! lingering sweetness of honey and brown sugar and the hops are noticeable only when you realize that without them, this would be like drinking brown kool-aid. better than i expected, and better than some of their other brews.

Fruit, cardboard, and sweet malt aroma. Amber with creamy lasting head. Malt, fruit, mild hops, and cream flavour. Fairly smooth with hoppy finish.

Decent hop presence, actually, but not enough malt for my taste - more of a dark colored pils than a vienna, perhaps, if it weren’t also so sweet.
