Light hazy bright orange appearance, I guess kind of like a sunset. The aroma was fresh, sweet malt. Light choclatey note in the body, oily with nice hops coming through as fruity and slightly roasty. Finishes with a medium length. A rather nice vienna, altough I think Robertus is the standout but not really comparable. JoeM500 (1909) - Crown Point, Indiana, USA - NOV 3, 2003
Yep, thats the color of a Michigan sunset! Big tan head, too! Nose is faint, malty sweet. Burnt, crispy maltiness. Sweetness of caramel lies underneath as it warms. Somewhat raisony aftertaste, some hints of peated malt as well. Cartoonkhaki (1341) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 4, 2003
UPDATED: JAN 4, 2004 Orangy amber colour with a quick to go light orangy frothy head on it. Sweet malty aroma. Slight sour dry hop bitter in favour. Smooth creamy palate. Nothing too special but decent. turbo (1271) - Arizona, USA - OCT 26, 2005
Bottle poured orange with a small head, big carbonation.
Aroma and flavor is sweet malt, hops, corn and just a bit of skunk.

Bottled at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Clear amber, rich head. Papery buttery malt aroma. Medium sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. Medium bodied. The low hop rate gives low bitterness and full emphasize on the malt. Nicely balanced, but being a tad sterile and lifeless it seems to more emulate the big south Bavarian brewer’s beers than the really good beers from the region.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2008 Bottle. Rich malty aroma with a touch of grassy hop. Amber color with a temporary beige head. Near medium body with fizzy carbonation. Roasted caramel with a minimal amount of grassy hop. Rather more tasty than one might think. They should get a downgrade for describing this as an ale, but generosity is a good thing. Finish is mildly sweet with perhaps a note of tobacco. trayns (246) - Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA - FEB 20, 2009
Growler. Pours a golden, amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is light malts and mild hops, not a strong aroma. Taste is thin and lacking, a little watery with a malty base and mild hop finish. Refreshing in the summertime I guess. MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2009
Bottle from the brewery- Deep orangey amber with a fizzy white cap. Nose of grainy malts, some caramel, fresh floral hops, some perfume. Sweet caramel malts meet grains and floral bitter hops. Prickly carbonation and a bit too sweet towards the finish. Pretty good. overall. picknbrew (199) - Mechanicsville, Virginia, USA - JAN 23, 2011
12 oz. Aroma- Some malt slight corn Appearance- Bright amber with some off white head. taste- A little malt sweetness that dries out quick. Finishes with a fair amount of bitterness. Pretty clean finish.
