roasty, toast, chocolate, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm good beer!
bottle. Poured opaque almost black with a thick mocha head. Aroma is rich with coffee. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy with a sticky tart finish. Roasted malt flavour with notes of coffee, cocao, smoke. Finishes a bit astringent. wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - MAR 3, 2012
Bottle. Pours black. Tiny off white head. Nice roasty aroma. Flavor is of roasty black coffee. Good stout mouthfeel. Good solid stout. Low alcohol so you can drink a couple. Main negative to me was that it could have been thicker. There just wasn’t a wow factor. Marsiblursi (3083) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 11, 2012
(Bottle) Pours dark brown to black with a sand coloured/light brown head. The aroma is of medium roasted and caramelized malt with undertones of tar, salt liquorice, coffee, light plums, dark chocolate, grassy/Europa-smelling hops. The nose is clean and tight. The flavour is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of chocolate and mild coffee roast as well as grassy hops, salt liquorice, tart wood and mild tar. The mouthfeel is sterile with light creamy hints. Hoppy aftertaste with a tiny whisper of malt bitterness. Medium bodied. shrubber85 (11706) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 30, 2011
Bottle. Chocolate coffee malt aroma - like walking into a great coffee shop. Opaque black-brown color with large tan head. Bitter burnt coffee and dark chocolate malt flavor. Okay - but unfortunately the flavor doesn’t quite live up to the expectations of the aroma.

Pour form a 12 oz bottle. Inky dark brew with thin tan head. Very mild aroma of burnt malts and coffee. Taste is simple burnt malts, coffee, a little sweetness and a little sour in the finish. Very solid. Creamy palate with good mouthfeel. Tasty! Hudspart (539) - Byron Center, Michigan, USA - FEB 5, 2011
Pours black with no head. Slight aroma of coffee. Taste of coffee and very slight coffee. Not bad. jb (3445) - Rochester, New York, USA - NOV 20, 2010
A rather nice trade from Ron. Started out explosively, as I had beer all over my kitchen, got it under control and it was frothing in the cup. Rings of lacing, rocky head, dark dark brown, with slight orange highlight. Dark chocolate nose, with roasted notes. Mouth is a tiny bit thin, oily, burnt, with a touch of chocolate. I enjoyed it. zizzybalubba (1891) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - NOV 7, 2010
12 oz. bottle from Siciliano’s in Grand Rapids. Pours dark brown with a short khaki head. Rich dark chocolate and coffee aroma. This is present in the flavor as well. The palate is somewhat thin but not too much so for a stout. I could drink several of these. This is a really solid stout. kbutler1 (1382) - Minnesota, USA - SEP 24, 2010
Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with very minimal head. What head there is collars around the rim of the glass. The aroma is that of a creamed up coffee loaded with sweetness and maybe some hazelnut. The taste is very similiar to the smell but you also get some leather and a little bitterness but other than that you get a creamy tasting coffee like taste. Medium mouthfeel. Surprisingly not that bad of a beer. I haven’t heard of this brewery before so I really didn’t have high hopes but ws decently surprised.
