Greg Brown has brewed up a Pale Ale using the Coopers Yeast strain - it doesn’t get much more Aussie than that!

On tap at the Map Room for their 19th anniversary. Pours a cloudy orange-golden colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is pretty grapefruit forward with some brighter resins and pines. A light, round caramel behind the bigger hops while allowing them to shine. Flavor is similar. Lots of grapefruit pines up front with some nice resins. There is a touch of grain and caramel, but this is all about the crisp hops. Finishes dry with a moderate bitterness and lots of grapefruit pines. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a really nice, sessionable pale ale. Crisp and easy drinking with lots of grapefruit hops. Very enjoyable.
