UPDATED: AUG 7, 2013 Not bad actually. I mean a malt liquor is what it is. But for 99 its really quite tasty. Dark Fruit, my terrible homemade wine, and faint alcohol on the nose. Taste of corn sugar, pale malts and faint fruit. Thin in the mouth but Not watery. Pretty good. Worth 99 for a 24 oz. It actually reminds me of a weak Belgian tripel. Best in its class I must say.

Pours a clear golden color with a thick bubbly white head with surprisingly some good lacing around the glass. The aroma is rather faint but I pickup some corn and wet grass. The flavor is similar to the aroma. When drinking ice cold there is nothing off putting or bad about the beer but as it warms up the flavor becomes slowly off-putting. The mouth feel is light and the finish is very dry.

Picked up a 40 for the wifes 40th bday party. It was not as bad as expected - kept cold it has a mild sweet corn taste with a tiny bitter finish. Brings me back to the high school days.

Used to drink this, Carlings Black Label and Moosehead back in college. Loved the metal cap pull tab big mouth grenade bottles. Kinda sad to see they went with a twist-off cap these days. Got my first hangover on Mickeys! It was the Mean Green! For what it is, it is still a good, cheap brew. Has a nice fruity aroma with little of the skunk or rocket fuel smell you get with Colt 45. The taste has a bit of a sweet corn flavor to it with just enough hoppy bitterness on the finish to let you know it was there. If you get a good batch that has been kept cold, Mickeys is a good pour - though I always drink it outta the bottle. Best bottom shelf Malt Liquor on the market IMHO.

Not had one of these since I lived in West Berlin and went to an American Sector Fair (1988 I reckon). So when I saw the bottles on sale in some random supermarket while on holiday in California I had to buy one. Still as shit as I remembered it. Actually to be fair it is a refreshing brew with nothing untoward or nasty about it. Typical golden pour, slight, weak, white head. More maltiness than hoppiness, but ultimately both odourless and almost tasteless.

355 ml bottle. Light corn/grain aroma. Pours golden in colour with a frothy white head. Watery grain and biscuit flavour. Very thin body. Tasteless finish - a tiny hint of bitterness.

Poured from the infamous 12 OZ big mouth bottle right into my pie hole. The appearance is a clear golden yellow with a small white head. The aroma is basic American Malt Liquor. The taste is a notch up on most malt liquors, I rate this in the same class as Colt 45 and Private Stock, I consider them uhhmm, err top shelf in the malt liquor world.

Green stumpy bottle share at Cotteridge II as Mickeys Fine Malt Liquor. Many thanks to Macboost, Martin and Rich for this fine malt liquor. Clear yellow, still, small foamy off-white head. Aroma is corny, biscuity malt. Body is smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is pasta, rice, pale malt, water. Insipid and starchy. (1.4)

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention - 2016 edition. Massive thanks to Mr. MacBoooooost for providing this juice. Pours clear yellow with a foamy, white head. The nose holds dried cereal, hay and pale grains. Medium sweet flavour with prominent white bread and accents of meringue. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish, with lots more white bread. Overall, its a decidedly OK malt liquor.
