From old tasting notes. Pale yellow gold color. Brief white head. Faint sweet malt nose. Zesty sweet malt flavor is cloying. Excessive carbonation. DuffMan (10451) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 27, 2017
Can. The following is a compilation of a dozen peoples’ thoughts who shared this brew with me at my first (and perhaps last?) Malt Liquor Dexterity Games Tournament to celebrate my birthday. Keeping in mind that most of the participants are not regular beer raters, here we go: clear medium gold, corny cereal, cardboard, relatively clean actually, do I get a t-shirt for this?, I’m so tired, hmmmmm ok, seriously not impressive, forgettable, maybe I’m drunk but this is drinkable, hated this Disney ice capade show, I’m done. snoworsummer (5746) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 1, 2017
From a can. Pours clear gold with a very thin head. Tastes like corn, dough, and pale malts. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like pale malts, corn, and dough. sonnycheeba (6126) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 1, 2017
Can. Pours clear gold. Aroma and flavor are corn, pale malt, funky lager yeast, and faint floral notes. Medium body. crossovert (13078) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 20, 2016
UPDATED: NOV 21, 2016 710ml can thanks sledutah. This is an unfortunately elusive malt for me as it is not available in anything besides cans and quarts and is not available anywhere near me. It is a shame because this is a grizzlier, rougher version of mickeys. Mickeys is definitely brewed in multiple facilities and this tastes like non-grenade mickeys; the grenade seems like the best formula of mickeys. This is very similar to any mickeys you will get in cans just a bit bigger in corn/malt taste.

Ok. So for what this is, not bad. The aroma is the worst part. Grassy with some chicken stock notes. Smells worse than it tastes. Pours an attractive deep golden with a big resilient frothy white head. Some light malty notes with a small amount of grassy hops. Finishes clean and dry. It’s a malt liquor, but not nearly the worst one. Better than the non-ice version of Mickey’s. ffbot (420) - Oakland, California, USA - OCT 26, 2015
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2015 IMO the best malt liquor. Something about ice brewing...it’s not just a fad/cheap gimmick....It does make it taste different. I think "rougher" is really how it tastes. Less sweetness, has more bite, kind of almost tastes like legit beer?! Note that with malt liquor, rougher is better since normally it just tastes sweet and boring slowrunner77 (12139) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 21, 2014
basic clear yellow beer. not as offensive as a few, but on the lower end of that scale. corn and light skunk. not good. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - JUL 29, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a basic clear yellow color with a fast rising carbonation trying to fill a rapidly dieing bubbly white head. There wasn’t any lacing.
The smell had a blast of booze in the face with a sweetness that came across as sugar.
The taste followed the nose.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with not much of a sessionable quality to it because of the large amount of sugar involved in hitting my tongue the way it does.
Overall, more malt liquor. Well, I’m not exactly sure what else to say other than I probably wouldn’t have this again. Sledutah (7722) - Utah, USA - JUN 17, 2014
24oz can from the state store
Pours clear golden with a medium sized white head that sticks around for a while, good lacing. Mild aroma of grains, corn and malts. Taste is grainy, sweet malts, bready and apple
