My favorite all time beer. The best part of going to upstate ny. Wish I could get it outside of that! generallee08 (772) - New York, USA - SEP 23, 2014
It’s on the darker side of the IPA style with a deep orange amber colored body. It has good clarity and a creamy off white head sitting on top. This head is thick and hangs on to the glass leaving thick lace rings at each sip. Overall the nose is fairly light but offers a mild bready and lightly fruity base with a nice balance of citrus and herbal hops. Under that is just a slight hint of mineral. There is a solid bready maltiness with a light fruity sweetness upfront balanced by light hop bitterness. Citrus, herbal, and mild pine like hop notes slowly take over and finish off the flavor profile firmly on the herbal/piney bitter side. This bitterness ligers and sticks for some time on the tongue. Bottle. Pours a clear copper body body under a one finger fizzy off-white head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is minimally hoppy with some caramel malt and light brown sugar. The flavor is pretty poor in the context of the style. Minimally bitter with little hop flavor, more brown sugar and caramel sweetness than hops. Medium bodied with a bit of clingy stickiness and fizzy carbonation. Pretty poor example of what I’m looking for in an IPA. RichieBoy (65) - Getzville, New York, USA - JUL 7, 2014
Nice clear copper color with a on finger off white head that stayed throughout. Aroma was citrus and piney hops and taste was slightly bitter up from with a smooth finish. Nice lacing all the way around and down the glass.

Bottle from my mix 6 of supermarket beer. Pours Amber with piney nose. Tastes of pine, caramel, malty, some orange peel. Relatively bitter and slight maple syrup on finish. berkshirejohn (6499) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2014
12oz bottle from Orchard Fresh, Orchard Park, NY. An amber pour with a tight cream head; strangely malty aroma for an IPA; estery, pear-drop taste; and a rather thin body; then a fresh dry finish, with some lingering herbal hops. Not at all what I was expecting, very different from the usual American IPA. demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - APR 29, 2014
12 oz bottle: Aroma has got a nice floral note off the top. Spicy hops with a very light malt backing. Appearance is a golden with a slight amber hue and a thick white head that diminishes quickly. Taste is nicely balanced with cascade hops, light nutty malt, and a light astringent note. Palate is medium carbonation with a nice cascade aftertaste that lingers. Overall, I like this one balanced and just good. Cheers! rejtable (2672) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2014
