A complex and artistically balanced multi-layered IPA (India Pale Ale) with an intense finish of cascade hops.

Amber with little head, some lacing, medium-bodied. Floral hoppy aroma. Fruity taste with a hint of pine, with excellent balance on the palate, just enough sweetness to counteract the hops. Not as aggressive as some IPA's, but very drinkable, I'll have another.

12 oz. bottle Exuberant, soapy head, delicate, blossom-sweet aroma. Honey and hops in the mouth, quite refined for an IPA. Far more elegant than the bottle might suggest...

Nice buttery, sweet aroma. Medium tan head, copper colored body. Lacing throughout.Good hop flavor. Overall not a bad I.P.A.

UnionMade (621) - Connecticut, USA - APR 26, 2003
Very well balanced, with a slight leaning towards the hops. Pours lighter than I expected, a medium golden amber, with a light mist of head. Aroma is malty and only mildly hoppy, with a bit of floral citrus. Flavor is initially malty, with the hops exploding a second after you sip. I like it.

Hopistotle420 (1177) - Amherst, Massachusetts, USA - APR 16, 2003
Big floral nose. Small beige head. Pale golden amber hue. Nice body and mouthfeel. Succulent malts provide a great balance for a big, spicy, resinous English hopped up finish. Nicely done without being overhopped and excessive.

Panzuriel (2380) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - MAR 2, 2003
Decent cheaper India Pale Ale. Good hops nice clean taste. Good aftertaste. Not Strong or offensive like most IPAs. Okay aroma decent color. think tight head.

apoptosis (1317) - Denver, Colorado, USA - FEB 8, 2003
No head retention on a medium amber body. Smells like sweet malts, tastes like watered down hops. This is pretty weak for an IPA, but would make for an acceptable American Pale Ale. A bitter, metallic finish.

notalush (5922) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - FEB 8, 2003
Copper color. Buttery, hoppy aroma. Those two things make it seem pleasant, but then you take a sip. This is thin bodied, with some slight traces of malty sweetness. The hop level is good, but there is something about it (maybe the combination of hops used) that clashes and leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. A bit disappointing.

Nice copper colour, and a long-lasting off-white head. Slightly hoppy aroma, not too strong though. A decently hoppy taste balanced pretty well with some malt. Long-lasting aftertaste as well. I'm happy I got to try this, although its not my favourite IPA, it ranks pretty high on the list!

amber in color. sweet and less hoppy than i expected from an ipa, but nicely flavored and rich. yet another success from middle ages.
