Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a hazy copper with small white head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruit, caramel, wood. Medium body, leather, raisins, caramel, dry finish, decent. Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Aroma of roasted malts and pecans. Pours a clear dark amber with a rapidly dissipating tan head and no lacing. The taste is a pecan nuttiness initially, followed by toasted malts, some graininess, and a slightly bitter finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, very tasty, but seemed more like a nutty brown than an amber.
