Pours dark amber. Slightly skunky floral aroma citrus and hops. Flavor is hoppy. Bitter with a little maltiness that balances out the bitter. Slightly citrus with a slight tinge of caramel and lemon.
From the tap poured a slightly copper colored brew with nice little white head. Well balanced aroma of hop and malt. Slightly buttery flavor in with the malt and hops, which I thought made it interesting. Mark_Eck (1921) - - NOV 21, 2014
Draft. Pours a hazy amber color. Aroma and taste are not good, wouldn’t drink again. superspak (5500) - Michigan, USA - SEP 25, 2014
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon zest, orange peel, apricot, caramel, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, mint, grass, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange peel, apricot, caramel, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, mint, grass, and herbal earthiness. Slight earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, orange peel, apricot, caramel, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, mint, grass, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance and minimal cloying flavors after the finish. Some light fruity tartness was also present on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is okay. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a solid amber ale. Good balance and robustness of citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering. bytemesis (8226) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - APR 19, 2014
Bottle, thanks Jim! Gusher on opening, pours clear orange, humongous white head, eventually dissipates with some lacing. Aroma is caramel, cardboard, grass. Flavor follows, sweetish and not good. strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - APR 11, 2014
Bottle. Amber, a little cloudy, nice mild aroma. Medium body, mild taste but with an odd lingering finish.

Bottle. Pours a copper color with a thin white head. A bit of malt and hops in the aroma and flavor. Is it the finest craft beer on the planet? No. Is it better than 99.9% of the macro brews? Heck yeah. lukedarock (246) - Howell, Michigan, USA - FEB 26, 2014
This beer is far from anything it claims to be, I took three sips and chugged the remainder, considering pouring my other two out BrewHaMeister (456) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 22, 2014
12oz bottle pours a hazy amber with a thick off white head. Aromas of faint sweet malt and a hint of hops. Not bad. hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 27, 2013
12oz bottle. Poured a hazy golden/amber color with an off white head. Aromas of caramel, buttered popcorn, and rotting fruits. Tastes of grains and caramel. I like the description - introduce non craft beer drinker to craft beer ... rumproasts (5342) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 24, 2013
bottle. amber with enormous five finger head. caramel malt and strange tartness -- kinda like light brett. seems like a bad bottle.
