Rated on 4-28-2012 at Fort Wayne, IN Gathering. This bottled beer courtesy of jsquire pours a small fizzy white head that is fully lasting, hazy pale yellow body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is malt, yeast and grassy. The flavor is sweet, malty, yeasty, suggestion of rice, and has a very dry finish. The mouthfeel is lively and this beer is medium bodied. This is a very different take for this beer style overall as the flavor is very different with the type of yeast used. The flavor did not leave me wanting this beer again. thedm (6183) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 1, 2013
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy with a frothy top white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a and a good lacing. The mild aroma was alcohol musty and malt hop. The bubbly mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The strange bubbly flavor contained notes of acidity. A decent one but not one that I would consider drinking again. SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - JUN 9, 2012
Bottle: Poured a golden to hazy yellow with huge white head. My wife was pissed off by the skunk smell that filled the bedroom when I cracked this, very pungent mold as well. Taste is spice, sour corn and grain. The finish is very bitter. I’m hoping that this is bad because the style didn’t hold up over time. jsquire (4489) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - MAY 20, 2012
Pale golden color out of the bottle with a frothy white head. Light wheat and earthy yeast in the nose. Some lemon grass, wet hay and nice yeast notes in the taste. Dry beer. I really don’t know what the rice and mirin add here. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - MAY 16, 2012
bottle at Ft Wayne tasting - Pours a hazy straw color, smells yeasty and grassy. It tastes of light, sweet, pils malt with a bubbly body and a yeasty, dry character that reminds me of saisons. Okay.

Bottle courtesy of, "AKfaust". Colour... light straw with a thick off white head. Nose... grass, light citrus and iodine (the seaweed I’m guessing). Palate... starts off fresh and light with some mild citrus, hops and honey then rapidly becomes a metallically laden palate wrecker reminiscent of too much zinc in the diet! It is a very rare occasion that finds me disappointed with an MSBC beer, but this is one of those occasions! Where’s my Berserker?! I need to cleanse my palate!! troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2011
[Tap] Tried this at the brewery in mid-September. Clear golden pour includes a small amount of head. Aroma of thin floral hops and what I suspect is sake yeast. Smells a little like malt liqour actually. Pilsner malt backbone, with vegetal hops and rice. A simple flavor profile really. After the initial aroma, I was a little worried about this one, but it turns out OK. Lubiere (13911) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 20, 2011
A blonde pils with a thin white head. In aroma, a light grainy mlat with light sake notes. In mouth, a smooth pils with chalky notes, crisp malt, a bit simple but nice. On tap at Humpy’s, Oct. 9 2011. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - OCT 19, 2011
Bottle courtesy of savnac. Clear pale piss color/ lasting white sheen. Dry pale pils, canned corn, rotting vegetable( seaweed? ) aromas. Light bodied. Decent enough flavors of dry bready yeasty pils, rice malts, and some herbs... clean dry finish--snowblower beer nickd717 (4691) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 13, 2011
Draft at City Beer Store. Bright clear golden in color with a one finger white head and great lacing. Very nice aroma of grassy and floral hops with a touch of pale malt. The flavor is like a good hoppy pilsner with an interesting twist. I can taste the seaweed, as it’s a bit briny and leafy. Good pilsner malt base with grassy hop bitterness and a bit of rice. Good light body and crispness that you want from a pilsner. Really good overall with a nice unique twist to it.
