22oz bomber, big "ups" to SHIG for hitting me with the puppy (he always, always has my back), thanks Shawn!, pours with a clear copper body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up smooth malts, thin semi sweet banana, a thin spicy note, floral hops and then a sense of spicy, pine and grassy hops. The taste delivers smooth sweet malts, smooth thin banana nuanced malts, a sense of esters and then a modest level of whiskey booze. To midway it picks up muted spicy oak, bitter floral hops and barrel boozy whiskey. This is smooth and an easy drinking sipper.

Bottle:   Orangish caramel, a bit dark and dirty, thin foamy tannish head, fairly nice lacing.   Sweet malty nose, a little fruity, some oak and definite whiskey like aromas.   Whiskey and oak up front, a little fruity, malty, sweet.   Thought it would be thicker in body, but its fairly moderate.   Warming finish.   Lots of barrel aging afterwards, whiskey and some oak.   Could use some more depth, but its fairly entertaining.   Soft alcohol lingers long.

hazy amber, thin cream ring dies fast. Caramel sweet nose, plenty of candy and lead oxidation. Sweet front palate is all caramel and bubble gum, ultra sweet mid palate rules undying through the end, more sugar and caramel richness in moderate palate, light alcohol booze.

22oz bottle pours a hazy, dark orange with a ring of white head. Nose has booze, orange, honey comb, pine, soap. Flavor is boozy, sticky caramel, orange, pine. Full bodied, hot finish.

neepsntatties (2028) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 5, 2016
Bottle from Gold Rush Liquors in ANC. Colour...dark brown with a thin tan head. Nose...massively boozy with dried dark fruits, booze soaked oak and spice. Palate...cloyingly sweet, but the dryness of the oak helps balance out the sugars. There’s some light bittering on the mid palate and then notes orange zest and Brooks prunes and zante currants. The finish is very long, quite boozy and raisiny.
